Sincerely, thank you 🙂 Question - at 20:09 you mention the piped-in engine sound. Can that be turned off somewhere in the Settings menu? I sure hope so.
Hey you know what Lexus is missing the missing massaging seats that's what Acura MDX type S have they have massaging seats the Lexus TX 500 H does not have massaging seats
Idc for massaging seats personally (though I can see why some people like them) and I wouldn’t want a Type-S MDX anyways as those low-profile tires will go flat easily. I rly like the normal MDX but Acura needs to give it a hybrid powertrain with close to 400hp (to improve fuel mileage and add to the fun).
The standard (non premium) 500h f sport is $72k, that's not a bad value for what it offers. Undercuts the X7 and GLS by quite a bit and is only marginally more expensive than the other non-German "rivals" from Volvo Infiniti and Acura. I say that in quotes bc the XC90 Qx60 and MDX are quite a bit smaller than the TX500 and less powerful
Hello gentlemen. Good review video for the 2024 Lexus TX 500H F Sport. With this vehicle, Lexus definitely made an emphasis on overall interior space for sure. Interior space for storage, comfort and cargo. This 500H F Sport model also has good performance numbers as well. From 0-60 in less than 7 seconds is pretty quick for a vehicle of this size. Based on the comments I've seen for this video, some said that this vehicle is a little too pricey. Lexus could've thrown in four or five more features due to this price point. Four or five more features that are missing, which are found on a vehicle I got not too long ago. Three months ago back in July, I got the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L in the Summit Reserve trim with the 5.7 liter V8 engine. Features on my vehicle that's not on the Lexus TX 500H F Sport include the following: 1. Massaging front seats 2. Front seats thigh extender 3. Adjustable air suspension 4. Interior camera 5. Night vision camera 6. Exposed bumper integration exhaust tips 7. Besides power folding 3rd row seats, there's power folding 2nd row seats as well 8. Built-in towing package
@CK-1000 Thank you. With the air suspension on my vehicle, it drives like you're driving on a cloud. As for the Lexus TX 500H F Sport, like what both of us said Lexus should've thrown in few more features for the price point of the vehicle. They should've done it because the TX is a new SUV model in the lineup and it replaces the third row seating RX 350L. I assume Lexus might throw in few of the M.I.A. features we mentioned during a mid-cycle refresh for this TX. Let's see what happens.
@naveenthemachine I don't know what Lexus was thinking. It appears they put too much focus on getting overall interior space while forgetting about comfy features. Out of the eight features found on my vehicle and MIA on the Lexus TX 500H F Sport, Lexus could've at least included three of them. They could've included massaging front seats, adjustable air suspension system and a built in towing package. At least those three they could've included, but didn't do it. I assume maybe, just maybe the top performing TX 550H plug in hybrid with the 3.5 liter V6 might have those features. Let's see what they will include for that particular model when it arrives in either January or February.
I don’t know if you realize how outstanding the sound level readings make you guys as car reviewers. The TX just became the most compelling 3 row vehicle for consideration. I am anxious to see you review the new GX to see how Lexus enhanced the sound design.

Same for Honda making the Acura Integra being only slightly better, if better at all, than the Civic Si to reduce Si markups. This also goes for the Type S to reduce Type R markups. While I think it is overpriced, people spread their finances thin (which is often why people lease). Lexus will not be able to keep any TX model on the lot for more then a couple days. These are the 'hotcakes' that jump off the frying pan. With that said, IMO NEVER buy the first model year of a car unless you like to be a Lexus beta-tester. Let others pay $$$ to Lexus to test the car. 2nd, 3rd and last model year of a car are usually the best times to buy.
@@Lucky-gk7ez Incorrect. I supervise 50+ people making less than $60K/year. Over 1/2 drive a car 3 years or newer and 80% of them lease. Wealthy retired folks own.
I’d have to agree with you. I don’t like the normal TX much as it’s missing 2 cylinders imo but I rly like this PHEV one. I’ll take it over a MDX and the Germans. If Acura were to make a hybrid version of the new MDX though, it’d def be by favorite thing in the segment.
@@Smallyardguy Its true. I went and saw the cx90 and the TX last Saturday. They can’t even compare, the TX is so much more luxurious, comfortable, intuitive, and high tech. Well worth the price, I was really impressed.
Well worth the price lol Ok, no one is getting fooled by a four cylinder hybrid set up asking $80k . But go ahead spend $80k on a four banger and tell your friends who has X5, X7 or MDX type S.
The MDX needs a hybrid powertrain with close to 400hp. It’ll improve fuel mileage and add to the fun. I also want those low-profile tires that go flat easily on the MDX Type-S gone as that should not be a concern on a family vehicle.
Not worth 78k but it's nice! I love the space. I currently have an MDX and I can already tell this is a bigger SUV for sure. Wouldn't pay no more than 70k for this. The market is still very inflated and the MDX Type S shouldn't be more than 70k as well.

I'm a fan of Acura, but I hope they consider incorporating equivalent horsepower, a slightly larger size, a 360-degree camera, a heated steering wheel, and perhaps an electric or full hybrid option. This would definitely make the Germans take notice.😅
We have a new MDX (owned it for a year) and love it but I wish it was a hybrid ngl. We ended up getting a normal Advance as the Type-S has those silly low-profile tires that go flat easily and we drive on bad roads.

I would take this TX over all of those. The BMWs will have inferior seats and legroom. The Volvo will have inferior seats and reliability. The Mazda is a great option but not my preference as it’s more sport oriented while the MDX and TX are more luxury oriented. The MDX would be my personal preference in the segment if it was hybrid but sadly it’s not so TX for the win. It’s a Lexus, yes
Wish the TX500 has the V6 :/
It does don’t worry.
@@CarGeek360 only the PHEV version right? Unfortunately, PHEV version does not have the F sport features :(
@@hananfaradya3518 to my knowledge the PHEV version has a naturally aspirated V6 and the normal one has a turbo 4 cylinder.
This car is the best
It’s not that much I just went on the Lexus website but it is about 75,000 for the TXF sport it is worth it because it has adaptive variable systems hi Navy vet here with an engineering background one of my favorite hobbies is to review luxury cars that I can’t afford to buy fortunately my friend is a manager at the Las Vegas dealership and let me test drive them every six months and all I have to do is write a six page report it’s the next best thing to owning one.
I am a minister if people see me owning a Lexus, people on the congregation will start talking g
Where is the $1,400 tow hitch that was supposed to be included as an option in this vehicle?
Same question??
Is it worth it ??
350 almost the same with 500, pretty boring
While I think it is overpriced, people spread their finances thin (which is often why people lease). Lexus will not be able to keep any TX model on the lot for more then a couple days. These are the 'hotcakes' that jump off the frying pan. With that said, IMO NEVER buy the first model year of a car unless you like to be a Lexus beta-tester. Let others pay $$$ to Lexus to test the car. 2nd, 3rd and last model year of a car are usually the best times to buy.
Leasing is for rich people so no most people don’t lease.
@@Lucky-gk7ez Incorrect. I supervise 50+ people making less than $60K/year. Over 1/2 drive a car 3 years or newer and 80% of them lease. Wealthy people lease because then own a business that can write-off the car. Most in middle management lease (those under 40 yrs old) because they don't think about saving for retirement. Wealthy retired folks own.
I bought 500h premium. I thought the car has panoramic roof. I noticed late. Oh my.
You didn’t look at it before buying?
Even at $88,000 its def worth it
Yeah sure… 88k for a nicer 3 row rav4😆
Yeah no.
I kinda agree since it's the biggest Lexus ever however it's 20k more than grand max...it should only be 6 or 7k more.
@@chefmastermikecmm8465not quite 20k more but still a lot
I’d have to agree with you. I don’t like the normal TX much as it’s missing 2 cylinders imo but I rly like this PHEV one. I’ll take it over a MDX and the Germans. If Acura were to make a hybrid version of the new MDX though, it’d def be by favorite thing in the segment.
Impressive video as always. Time to do a sibling rivalry video between this vehicle and the Acura MDX Type S.
MDX would wipe the tx off the floor inside and out
@@naveenthemachine😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@Smallyardguy Its true. Th MDX has a better exterior much nicer interior more features and a more sophisticated suspension setup and a turbo v6
Whereas the tx has the same suspension system as a Camry / rav4 both of which are sub 30k cars and this car costs more than twice that. Combine that with a cheap interior, useless tech, boring to drive very slow, has no features and the fact that it’s way overpriced
@@naveenthemachine It's the same platform, but not the same suspension set up. The platform is designed for multiple adaptations, which you already know.
@@notsodelusional no they’re literally the same. The only real difference is the wheelbase of the vehicles. The suspension design front and rear are exactly the same
How did you guys find this to ride compared to the normal 350 (I know you said both are very good as expected)? Also I’m curious how the normal NX rides compared to the F-Sport one (in comfort mode btw the car will never be in sport). My grandpa is in the market for a new Lexus so I want to know weather you found the regular NX to have better ride quality or the F-Sport?
Both are very comfortable but the standard versions of RX and NX will be a bit better all the time for your Grandpa
@@CarConfections nice to know! Is it the same deal with the TX? I mean he isn’t looking to buy a TX but I just want to know out of curiosity. Thanks for the help!
The Traffic Jam Assist is via Subscription penny-pintching Toyota 🤨
That exterior nor that interior looks like 78 thousand
Lexus still can't be bothered to install 4-corner air suspension on a $78k SUV?🙄
Or massaging seats passenger memory double wishbone front or 4 zone climate or lounge chairs w ottomans or heated / ventilated 3rd row seats
It has adaptive dampers, Lexus doesn't use a ton of air suspension. Only cars that had it were the GX with rear air springs, the LX, and the LS. All the other cars have adaptive dampers in F-sport trim.
@@LoneWolfSparty adaptive dampers aren’t enough
A grand Cherokee summit offers an air suspension.
@@naveenthemachine and it still doesn't handle as well or ride as well as Magnetic Ride Control. Adaptive dampers aren't bad -- it just depends on what TYPE you use.
@@LoneWolfSparty the grand Cherokee still handles better than the tx because it’s RWD based. Despite being heavy it’s better balanced than the TX. Not to mention the Jeep has a double wishbone front suspension
The infotainment looks really cheap
Sadly the Cx90 and MDX are better options than this
I went and saw the cx90 and the TX last Saturday.
@@jujharsingh4458the PHEV TX had a V6 thankfully it’s the normal one that has the 4 cylinder.
@@mama2agn301the TX and MDX are more luxury oriented while the CX90 is more sport oriented. All are great it just boils down to personal preference.
The MDX needs a hybrid powertrain with close to 400hp. It’ll improve fuel mileage and add to the fun. I also want those low-profile tires that go flat easily on the MDX Type-S gone as that should not be a concern on a family vehicle.
78k for a 4 cylinder engine no thanks
Not worth 78k but it's nice! I love the space. I currently have an MDX and I can already tell this is a bigger SUV for sure. Wouldn't pay no more than 70k for this. The market is still very inflated and the MDX Type S shouldn't be more than 70k as well.
The MDX type s is worth every dime I paid for it. It’s great in every single way.
@@bradleyscarreviews don’t get me wrong I think it’s a great value especially comparing it to its competition today but they’re all overpriced about 5-10k over what they should be.
@@dannyo.7119 that is very true
I wouldn’t pay more than $45k for a 4 banger SUV. But you do you.
@@bradleyscarreviews The MDX Type-S is awesome but I would keep it away from bad roads as those low-profile tires go flat easily. That’s why when we were in the market we got a normal MDX as our car usually spends more time on bad roads then good. Massaging seats don’t matter to us as we don’t like them so we are very pleased with our vehicle.
Biggest gripe is the design. Aside from the size, it really lacks presence for something that carries the Lexus badge and is this expensive.
I wish it was v6 or v8 than turbocharged
No it doesn’t worth 80 k … max 60 k
Warning!!! Don’t buy any new Lexus with the mark levinson!!! It will shut down on you when you listen to any song with a strong bass!! Lexus speaker had been known to being blown up , so they but in this shut off fuse to fix the problem. Putting a bandage on an open cut !!! I’m going through it with Lexus now with my 2023gx. Lexus customer service is the worst service ever!!!!!
Interesting. Never heard something like this from anyone.
forums say that in the TX line, that stereo isnt very good. Good in other models
Too much plastic inside the car. It really doesn’t look expensive at all.
The sound level was impressive, even with Texas bad roads, it could probably do 49 in Kentucky
For that price, I would expect massage seats and rear entertainment.
Chrysler Pacifica got everything minus reliability 😂😂😂
THE HIGH LANDER AND THAT MODEL LOOKS THE SAME YOU JUST PAYING FOR THE LOGO!JUST LIKE THE GAP/OLD NAVY🤔
A flat out nope on that one 😂
And I don’t even have to explain why
Your explanation was never important
@@Investor_philips it should be. I can give the review of this in one comment
@@naveenthemachineno it really isn’t, you’ve proven time and time again you don’t know what you’re talking about 😂
@@naveenthemachine anytime I see your comments I don't take you serious, you aren't worth anyone's time, sometimes when I see your comments I don't bother reading it, I just scroll to the next comment because yours isn't even worth reading.
@@Investor_philips you should take me serious. Because what I say almost always ends up happening
Just like I predicted the nx lx RX RZ sequoia tundra would be very underwhelming and sure enough that’s exactly what we got
2 much money 💰
Why ANYBODY would get this over a GX 460 with the delightful V8 and a price tag that’s $15,000 less is beyond me.. this thing looks hideous! If you want something modern, get a brand new BMW X5 for the same price.
The GX is old and outdated infotainment and has never been considered a true 3 row family hauler. Lexus did not have a contender til now. The last RXL was a joke.
@@steverogers7211 The people buying Lexus’s vehicles are old men/women, they’re not wanting all this tech with no physical buttons! Besides, it looks better
No one wants an unreliable piece of German garbage that will depreciate fast
X5 has no 3rd row and inferior seats/legroom. The GX is an awesome vehicle but dated. If I was in the segment personally this would be my pick (or a MDX if they ever made it hybrid).
@@CarGeek360 The people buying this car aren’t 35 year old soccer moms… they’re most likely middle aged people who need space to go to the beach every now and then. If you were a young soccer mom, I’d get a Hyundai palisade or Kia Telluride for much cheaper then this.
The TX has tiny break lights! The interior looks cheap, some wood trims would help.
worth more
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤ Wonderfull
Only if i make 100k per year then i will buy it. 😂
Toyota is spitting on us with this slightly modified 4runner with $10k markup and uglier tires and front end
We ended up getting a normal Advance as the Type-S has those silly low-profile tires that go flat easily and we drive on bad roads.
that 33 inches is also a LIE that is with the second row seats fully pushed FORWARD! lol Toyota/Lexus measurements are so misleading...
Hello cartoon
All car companies lie about their measurements not just Toyota.
front looks like the old highlander.. This can easily be mistaken for a Palisade but with an L badge. it'll sell like hotcakes for sure just cause it's Lexus
I am still not 100% sold on reliability of Kia/Hyundai/Genesis. I know Toyota has turbochargers, etc, but I would trust their stuff more at 100k miles then the others.
@@keithcrandall1369 most definitely. that's not even including the whole stolen car fiasco in the US
Too much money for this poor fella 😩
I want a big ugly chrome grill so the poor know to get out the way
You must be cray cray to spend 78K on a Lexus!!! For that price you best get yourself a Bimmer like a X5!!! Plus you might just get a taste of some phat chocolate cakes like mine boo!!!
Or the X7, if u want something with a usable third row and good driving dynamics
Get the CX-90, XC-90 or the MDX Type S
I would take this TX over all of those. The BMWs will have inferior seats and legroom. The Volvo will have inferior seats and reliability. The Mazda is a great option but not my preference as it’s more sport oriented while the MDX and TX are more luxury oriented. The MDX would be my personal preference in the segment if it was hybrid but sadly it’s not so TX for the win. MDX Type-S also has low-profile tires that go flat easily which is why I’d prefer to have a normal MDX personally.
Even keep grand Cherokee summit have better interior
@@kromahj from the pictures I've seen, the Grand Cherokee Summit has a REALLY nice interior. I highly doubt it'll have the reliability of an Acura or Lexus though. If reliability wasn't a concern for me, I'd honestly just get a Mercedes-Benz GLE450.
Way over priced, I rather get full size suv instead 😂
Man…exterior looks ugly
It looks much better in person and the grand Highlander is not even close
Ugly design just go buy Highlander
I think you mean grand Highlander and sorry the grand Highlander interior is substandard and the whole thing is tiny. It doesn’t compare to this Lexus.
The Germans cars are much better choice. They drive much better,Moore luxurious….and same price like Lexus!!! Tru is Toyota-Lexus are Moore reliable. If you need car or if you change car every 6,7 ..years bay upscale Toyota with Moore expensive plastics inside. If you change ,lease car every 2-4 years than Mercedes,Audi,BMW is the place to spend money. To avoid future problems with Moore complex and technology advance-vehicles -lease is the best, you will be Moore happy with your car experience.Germans they know how to make great vehicles.
German cars aren’t the same price lol. This thing is the same size as a BMW X7 and that starts at 81K. You can get a TX 500h luxury (the top one) for 77k.
This car is hideous, so glad i got a Grand Highlander
I prefer the TX styling but to each their own. Everyone has their own opinions and I respect yours.
No. I thought the same thing until I actually test drove them. Both the grand Highlander is a tinny feeling SUV with a cheap interior. The grand Highlanders interior is clearly cheaper than the regular Highlander interior. No question. The TX blows the grand Highlander away. I was shocked at how much nicer the TX is when you look at it in person in my opinion, the grand Highlander doesn’t even belong in the same room as the TX after test driving both of them and looking over them carefully for a few hours at each dealership.
