Yes I agree to be your own peace, but when the spouse is not giving you the love you deserve, there is no peace, at that point you neglect yourself to keep the peace. There's peace in self love, not self neglect. I go into every relationship bringing peace, but when it's not reciprocated, it's not healthy. Ace Metaphor had a short, with that saying of women will treat you at the beginning with all the love, care, respect, but after a while, she will treat you how you've been treating her... watch yourself.
My ex did the same thing trashy female friend before me but it’s cool I let them to it and kicked him out my house. He wasn’t my peace abs the cow was an disrespectful to me plus called me crazy when I told her about her ways
Unfortunately my ex did the most to stay away from me. I clearly wasn’t his peace. He seemed to only want me around when he felt like being with a woman. Soooo. I gave him all the space he needed permanently!! I’m sure he found a replacement soon after.

I have been told by the men in my life that I am a source of peace. I have no drama in my personal life and allow people to be who they are. Allows the relationship to be more fluid. You don’t have to control anything, in time people will reveal who they really are.

I 100% agree with being his peace. Even if he’s doing things out of character, be his peace. Help him, talk with him, let him vent to you and tell you his problems. No one do things just to do it, or because it’s their character it always stems from somewhere. And 8/10 it’s from them always being told a man shouldn’t cry or express his feelings.
Counseling is good if your unhappy they'll ask you if you want medicine or just want to talk you are talking to a stranger no judgement

Real talk. A lot of these relationship advice videos are from a perspective that we are dealing with rational, healed, aware men. And, in most cases, we just aren’t. A lot of these men are insecure, prideful, jealous/envious of their own mate. No matter how hard you try, you can’t make sugar from sh!t; learn when to cut your losses and carry on. Boundaries and standards are key.

Please do a video on female friends and what is appropriate. My BF has kept his female friends he’s met on dating sites, which makes me uncomfortable, and he regularly communicates with other women. One of his female clients he does handy work for asked him to go skiing with her, and he saw no problem with him going without me. It made me uncomfortable. Am I crazy for feeling this way?
I would like for StephanSpeaks to answer this as well to see if he agrees with my response to your comment. I dont feel you're crazy for feeling how you do. Realistically there should be boundaries between your guy and his female friends and clients because even if you trust him, you cant trust the other females. As much as even if he's not interested in them romantically because he's with you, you dont know these female friends' motives and intentions. For all you know that particular friend or friends could secretly have romantic feelings for him. Also the more time the opposite sex spend together, the more likely it can turn into something more. With that there definitely need to be boundaries. Your guy and this female already spend a lot of time together because she's his client. Now by them spending time outside of that setting is opening the door for something to happen if either of them has an attraction to each other. It's blurring the lines of their professional relationship. He shouldnt be going on that trip with his client. It's crossing the line and as a professional he should know this. I could play devil's advocate and say he's simply naive and you may need to set the boundaries but a lot of men simply don't care enough and thats what opens the door for trouble. But let's see what StephanSpeaks thinks.

I also told him I felt uncomfortable, but he called me insecure, which caused problems. I am thinking about ending it because he is surrounded by female friends, including ones he's dated, he sees no issues with this. It's hard because you don't want to be the "crazy" girlfriend, but I will also not dishonor myself. I have learned to choose myself over men, but I thought he was husband material. There is a difference between peaceful and boring. I dated a man who would always tell me. I go crazy mad sometimes BUT you're the only one to make me think straight, to calm me down. But i never catered to him and did my own thing. I was not his doormat in the least.

I had a coworker who told me she would cater to her husband and go out of her way for him (like doormat stuff) and he ended up cheating on her.

When we were together the first time, I told him I knew he was right for me because I was at peace when I was with him. Then I asked him if he felt the same way with me and he said no. He said it wasn't anything I was doing, but he was just so scared to death of getting hurt and heartbroken again and losing me, in whatever way it would happen, made it so that he had no peace at all. In the end of that relationship, he left me.

I just bring this up because I proved you can be the gentlest, most amiable, most at-ease woman and a man will leave if he himself does not even know what peace feels like. Each person can be PEACEFUL, but each person also has to be his own peace, because I proved you can't be someone's peace when that person is internally turbulent. I was shocked and dismayed when he told me that back then, because I thought I could provide that for him. Taught me a painful and soul-deep lesson about my abilities, even as a Proverbs 31 ruby.
