TIS Techstream is used by dealerships for vehicle diagnostics on Toyota, Lexus or Scion vehicle.
Toyota Techstream connects with a USB Mini VCI cable through the OBDII port. You can find Mini VCA on Amazon Here: amzn.to/2F0FuvO
Toyota Techstream allows you to access vehicle settings, such as door locks, transmitter, engine immobilizer programming, power window, interior illumination, security, and more.
It is also used to read and clear diagnostic trouble codes in all vehicle module included but not limited to ECM, ABS/TRAC/VSC, SRS Airbag, and occupant detection systems.
Toyota Techstream also allows you to program chipped keys and wireless remotes.
Bi-directional controls allow you to perform tests on multiple different components to aid in the diagnostic workflow.

I am by no means a Toyota expert but having the factory scan tool at my disposal is a huge benefit when it comes to diagnosing and repair cars right the first time.

I programmed a new (refurblished possibly) smart key on 2010 Lexus RX450 and everything was good except the new key cannot open the truck like the original is. Sometimes this happened on other cars as well but most of the time it worked.
Any thoughts?
Which version is needed for a 2018?
I've been searching for an answer to the following question for some time, obviously to no avail - Will Toyota Techstream software bleed the ABS actuator/module on a 2002 Tundra 4wd? The Service Manual doesn't have a procedure listed for bleeding the ABS system, is it possible to bleed the ABS system on this light truck? Thanks for your time and effort on our behalf, Reggie.
Can techstream display last intrusion alarm events? I have the factory alarm RS3200 on 2017 Prius Prime. Alarm went off two times when nothing was wrong. Ford can display last alarm events which can show for sure what sensor is flaky. Would be nice if you did a video on this!

Just wanted to ask at the bottom of the start up page main menu it says subscription expiration 23h 59m. Does your techstream still work after the timer/ subscription has run out?
You'll have to get a cracked version for that not to matter otherwise yes, it'll stop working
Can you Program the immobilizer not the key immobilizer but the one that’s in the dash. I believe it’s called a code immobilizer?

How did you clear the codes? I didnt catch that
Near the bottom left (on my version) there is a engine icon, click on that.
i bought a prius with original fob(locksmith toll me the fob is working) , when i try to turn on, the display show me no key detected. There's a way to use teachstrem to reprogram the fob, maybe the former owner change the ECU
Could be that someone used Techstream and accidentally deleted the key. Especially if the previous owner said they lost it to the dealership lol. Otherwise yeah, could've replaced the ECU or even cleared the memory
What computer is best for Toyota & lexus?
I had to use Windows XP and version 9 of the software to get it to work properly, with the 20 dollar Chines cord.

Can techstream software work on Japanese made Toyota Prius

Trust me you have no idea how excited I am to get your response just now, I appreciate it so much, just to be clear all I need is the cable and the CD and the laptop?) and please tell me if I am correct by thinking that it does more than most of these scan tools that comes with the regular code reading and clearing pending codes but nothing that is in depth, Please Don't Be A Night bad does this also have seks assistent live software reading and update.
The Oxygen I'm not sure we're you were planning on getting you software but we get it though AE tools and this is the dealer level software. It does everything.

when i try and update my ecm it says " cannot connect to server" i cant figure it out
You need internet connection on the laptop
Did you successfully complete the update process?
Did you have to subscribe on Toyota website before you were able to get the updated Calibration files?
I noticed there is a $20 personal subscription which I don't wish to incur really on this car
What sucks is you have to have a subscription to flash updates 😔
