As a kid I watched Woody get restored and it was my most favorite part of Toy Story 2. Now as an adult I can watch other items get restored. Soo satisfying to watch!
I have reached the right age and Hermes is my only choice now, slowly adding to my collections but not keen on Birkin. Constance, that I am aiming for.
Asmr in short is a phenomenon experienced that most who can feel it describes it to be like brain tingles. Like the tingly feeling you get when someone draws on your back or brushes your hair. There is also a response to sound and visual cues, which on TH-cam there are creators who make this content. This video has become more relaxing in nature and remind me of said videos. I personally don't experience ASMR when watching but still watch the videos for relaxation.
Watching items being restored is so calm and satisfying.. it's so soothing, seeing things fall back into place - maybe because everything is out of it in my life..
This bag has been used since 1974 and we have just gave it another lease of life, likely to last another 46 years or longer if cared for properly. It would be amazing to get this bag to 100 years old!
I don't know if it was the same restorer, but they did an amazing job on my Chanel flap. 20 years old and looks brand new, plus I can now wear it crossbody. Brilliant professionals.
No, but I think it's a good investment for someone who can afford it. I know people who have Hermès accessories and I can confirm the quality is excellent. A 500€ Hermès belt will last more than 10 50€ regular belts, while being more stylish and comfortable to wear.
@@litamtondy there is no way 10 50€ belts will last less than a hermes one. I have 2 belts one is Calvin Klein 75€ and one p.london 70€. 6 and 10 years old, both worn 3 times a week like almost new. Belts dont wear easily at all
@@pguru5292 Exactly, obviously designer items are made to a higher standard but there comes a point where the price you're paying is solely for the brand name and not the quality.
I am so impressed! And I am also grateful this is a natural video, without some awful music being imposed on it. Just very pleasant and soothing all around...like, everything is going to be ok. (sometimes we need that illusion)

What's the obsession with bags? "When I'm rich and buy all the bags I want" oooh some BIG life aspirations there. A bag, a pouch to put stuff in, nothing more to it, unless you want a tacky Zamac die-cast metal "designer" badge on it. I've got a Northface Backpack I've had for years.....big deal As a bloke, I just don't get it. My missus moaned and carried on because I bought a new clutch for the car, yet she spent TWICE that much on a "designer handbag" off ebay! (which she barely uses)
Cross body, my favourite kind of handbag and this one is lovely. The restoration has brought back the rich colour that it was originally and now it's as good as new 😊.
@@AshleyNicole-ct7gh they belonged to my grandma! She gave them to me when she started to get sick. I was 12 back then. Thank goodness I didn't throw them!

Those 1.2 seconds of sipping the paint in the cup were the most soothing 1.2 seconds of the whole video. Like the whole video wasn't soothing enough. This is a pure artistry to me: craftsmanship, creativity and all above it all a utility and higher purpose. Pure magic.
Why did I almost cry while watching this? It’s so beautiful to see the art and care for high quality products and the possibility to make them like brand new again to be worn over and over for many years to come ♥️
I wish we have such a bag clinic in Jordan, I have an expensive leather and very dear old bag, waiting for such a clinic to repair. Would never throw away.
Beautiful and skillful art of restoration, very satisfying to watch. I also realised how in older times hermes had taste and structure to their bags which made them classic
I don’t really like the whole ASMR thing so I prefer to watch the video with no volume. I can still enjoy it that way and it was satisfying to see something being repaired/brought back to life. Amazing work!

I’d just take it to Hermes. They could’ve made a new strap and it wouldn’t alter the warranty. Now they will not touch it at all. Yes it might be more expensive, but all things considered, so is the bag. Expensive things are expensive to keep up. That being said, this came out really great.
