It would've been much easier to get the cake out of the pan before glazing it. But the glaze would not have looked as thick & pretty.😊 Looks like a delicious cake. Thanks for sharing & putting the recipe in the description box.

These were sooooo good! If anyone wants to make muffins, I preheated my oven to 400 degrees and baked it for 22 minutes
Awesome, thank you!
how many muffins does the recipe yield? 12?

Exactly! It will be a bit messier but the frosting will look so nice and thick 😝
Looks great!
Made this several times already. It is A-MAZING. I plan on posting my version on my blog. It's so good.
Wonderful!!

Oh wow how detailed! Good job! I’m glad you enjoyed it 😄
Why would you put the three white powders in lines?? Makes them look like something other than baking powder 👀
😂 never thought of this! Fair point 😂😂😂
Hahaha. That was my question also. But I guess old habits....
@@paulinaadkins3593you suggesting something here?
Oh shut up
Glaze after taking the cake out of the pan, I do anyways. You get glaze on sides and it's easier for fix a break etc.
great eye!
I actually left it in the pan during the glazing on purpose to get a thicker glaze layer :)
Both ways delicious of course!
Lovely cake ❤️👌🥰
Thank you! One of my favorites! ☺️
@@BakingNicky yum yum ❤️
Thanks so much for sharing 😋😋👌😘😘👍👍👏👏
Happy to share! Thanks for watching 😊😊
Lovely recipe! Do I have to put it in the fridge if i cannot finish it in one day?
Room temp is perfectly fine over night, just make sure to use a hermetically sealed container or some clingfilm 🙂
Does the cake come out moist or is it dry inside?😄
it is quite moist, you can use less poppy seeds if you want it to be more moist :)
Any seed to replace poppy seed
For a similar crunch maybe I would use a few chia seeds, but it might affect the texture due to their properties.
Can replace blavk poppy seeds with white poppy seeds?
I’ve never used them because I can’t find them around here, worth a try ☺️
Has anyone tried this with non dairy milk?
You were doing well until you glazed the cake, What a mess! Just put the icing on AFTER taking it out the tin.
Sure you can do that but get a thinner glaze
Gravity!✌️
this is nice, but it's too moist 😂😂
Not sure if you mean that it looks too moist on your screen or if you’re asking for feedback because yours turned out too moist 😂
@@BakingNicky mine turned out too moist, I think maybe bc of my lemons bigger

Try lowering the oven temp 20c
Should have taken it out of the pan first

Made this with mom today, it was delicious 😋
Yummy! Hope your mom liked it too ❤️
