      Competition from the machE?!... all 25 of them? Good to see that CarMax sees the writing on the wall that they're going to be completely obsolete in the future because people are not going to be owning Vehicles they're going to be getting their vehicle to pick them up using the Tesla Robo taxi service we could say goodbye to dealerships all across the country including CarMax so it's good to see CarMax trying to Klingon whichever way it can...

      Oh my God I never would have thought that technology would have a learning curve that you would have to get over so you can operate it properly it almost seems like my cell phone that I'm writing this message on right now when I first got this thing it was so hard to operate I had no idea what I was doing now that it is the norm it is completely easy to operate a cell phone because cell phones are everywhere and they're all close to the same interface just like there will be Tesla's everywhere and they will all be the same interface...

      So wait you mean to tell me if I'm in my car and I hit the accelerator really hard it burns more gas than it does if I accelerate softly while I never would have thought that really makes me want to keep my ice car and keep the status quo as it is and keep every anything from changing

      Yeah the charge time in 15 minutes is about half the battery capacity or a little bit more that's getting up to 75% this is the fast-charge time and it's actually better for your batteries and not charge them to 100% and only charge them to 80% and discharge to only 25%. Just like it's not a good thing to over fill your tank on your gasoline vehicle because otherwise it will overflow into your evaporative system and flood your evaporative system and just as it is bad to run below a quarter of a tank with a internal combustion engine because the fuel injectors will get messed up unless you have an old carbureted engine it is very bad to run below a quarter of a tank with fuel injectors

    Yak, Yak, Yak for the Price this thing should go at least 500 miles on a charge in the Winter Time the battery pack should last for at least 500,000 miles and the Vehicle should be trouble free. Also the financing should be very affordable. Until you meet all of this Criteria the vast majority of people in the world will not be able to afford or purchase one of these Vehicles.

    • @wolfgangpreier9160
      @wolfgangpreier9160 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No. That would make it too heavy. It should go to the second Supercharger if you depend on driving 000miles each day. Thrice around of course. I drive mine about 250-350km 3 times a week on the Autobahn. In Winter i have to recharge at any of 3 Superchargers on my route. In summer i don't need them.
      Whats your typical distance? 500 miles every day? Or many times a week?

    To bad EV’s make a bigger carbon footprint than internal combustion fuel vehicles!

    • @DubstopherWubson13
      @DubstopherWubson13 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      that only depends on where you live and what energy resource you're using to produce the energy to charge your vehicle.. if you have solar panels then it's entirely renewable and has no carbon footprint :) However, if you're in a state that primarily uses coal or natural gas it still has a carbon footprint but not as much as a car with a tailpipe. Do some research if you're interested in lowering or learning about EV emissions versus fuel and you'll learn a whole lot about how beneficial renewable energy is at not only the environment but on your wallet as well! As the country shifts to renewable energy it'll be much much better

    • @lemongavine
      @lemongavine 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I drive an EV for the performance and home charging convenience, not for environmental reasons. If you’re concerned about the environment, ride a bike (or get solar panels and drive on sunshine). A moderate rooftop solar array produces about 25,000 miles worth of electricity per year.

    How much does it cost per mile to charge at a Tesla charging station

    • @InspirationDose
      @InspirationDose 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The cost is calculated per kilowatt not per mile. This particular car shown in this video has a battery size of 82 kilowatt. Tesla superchargers in my area cost 30 cents per kilowatt. So 82 x 0.30 = 24.60. To charge this car from 0% to 100% would be $24.60
