ok, so i swapped my extention lead to a new outlet and it worked so i put my computer charger in the other, both work now but why wasnt it working before?

well i’ve been having to factory reset mine for a couple of days then the other day i would turn it on and the xbox logo would light up but it wouldnt boot up make any noise just sit their, it also wouldnt connect to my monitor i tryed like 4 hdmi’s so its not that and it isnt my monitor. any suggestions hahaha think mines dead

So the light on my Xbox turns on and my controller does to but just yesterday it said the Xbox was overheating so I put it where there’s some space and I have everything else connected to my tv and it doesn’t load on my tv but when I hold the light it vibrates but I can’t turn it off or anything idk what to do
So if a xbox over heats to the point it turns off will it ever turn back on
Another thing that worked for me: Unplug the power cable and plug it back in but not all the way, just like 70%-80% way, that worked for me!

Anyone know why this is happening so basically I'm updating my Xbox it downloads the update when it completes the applying step it does the reset but my Xbox didn't turn back on after the reset and I unplug it and plug it back in and when I turn it on it takes me back to the update screen and It does the same thing over and over

Thanks the video helped I ended up taking it out the Extension cord and plugging it into the wall and it helped
So I tried to open a game and the Xbox shut off as if it had no power I Microsoft and that didn’t help o tried what they said again but when it gets into the green Xbox logo animation it shuts off and will no longer turn on

You need to unplug the main cable from the Xbox for 10 seconds and then you plug it in you should be able to turn it back on

ok so i turned my xbox on and the light came on and everything.. i try turning my xbox controller on but it just keeps blinking. it shows that the xbox is literally on but it shows that no source is showing up on my tv. like it’s been doing this for the past week and i moved it to a different spot but still didn’t work

Thank you, I forgot to unplug my Xbox after using it (since the power goes away often in my area which has a chance of making my Xbox unusable) and my Xbox wasn’t turning on. I plug it into a different outlet and now it works!

My Xbox guide button froze and I couldn’t do anything for about 15 minutes so eventually I just turned off my Xbox and now it won’t boot back up at all. I’ve done all the reset stuff I’ve checked wires and outlets and it all seems to be completely fine but it still doesn’t boot up. When I try to boot up my Xbox the light turns on and that’s it. If anyone can try to offer any possible solutions I’d really appreciate it.

My Xbox froze and crashed on mincraft so I tried a different game and it froze. then I went to the home menu and that froze. so I unplugged it since it wouldn’t turn off and now it’s on but my controller and monitor won’t connect to it

My Xbox just updated and immediately froze as it tried to update crossout and while my game was loading, And now wont turn on. The light goes on, the fan is on but the Xbox will not work. Cant even connect to it remotely. Good thing is that it is not a year old yet so might be able to get some money back if I check it's return info. If any one has any idea please tell me. Because after the last 30 minutes I seem to be the only problem with this problem. I think the new update had faulty code or something.
Edit: After leaving it on for about 25 min it popped back to life. I guess it was contemplating life of something. Probably had a lot of things It needed to sort out internally before it could process turning on.
Edit again: That or the game updating did something, Fortnite updates break both my xbox's so crossout might of done the same.
