In my opinion, the best marketing happens when a marketeers just primarily act on the idea of "How can we be good humans" instead of "How can we sell our product".
"Totally reputable websites." Well, the Internet Archive is in fact pretty reputable, though since you're still relying on other people's uploads, it's not ENTIRELY so.
6:50 I suspect the reason that there are weird lines in the UI, is because of optimisation reasons. With the older consoles, optimisation was important with limited processing power and storage space, so sprites were often separated in multiple bitmaps, so that they could be reused in other sprites.
That's actually pretty normal for sprites for older systems.... but that's the difference with good emulation and ok emulation. At the end of the day - is there an artefact or not? I personally think that the 0.5% of people actually interested in this won't care one way or another. I also think... emulation is such an entitled discussion (because the bulk of people actually don't play OLD GAMES).
Those lines doesn't appear when playing in the native hardware, the real reason is that N64 Emulation is really hard to accomplish even nowadays, there still some games barely playable, and most games have minor visual glitches

Most mid range gaming rigs from 2014 and up can run Dolphin easily bro
@@snoopersmokio Bro, I can point to specific games where changing gaming settings needs to be done to get some games to run even at a playable speed. I do this all the time, but thanks for attempting to correct me about something I already know about.

@@MGMan37 well, depend on what console you want to emulate, all 8, 16, 32 bits including N64 and PS1 works well on Xbox One. But if u want to emulate Gamecube, Dreamcast, Wii and PS2, Xbox Series S/X is a must.
"We're stuck with the D-Pad which is not ideal for a lot of Playstation games". I think people have forgotten that the original PS1 Playstation Controller had no analog sticks. Crash Bandicoot 1 is one of those games that does not support analog sticks. With some effort (retroarch controller mapping files) you can force a mapping, but it never feels quite right.
I was looking for this comment.
um, the original PS did have analog sticks. Just not the first revision.
what do you mean some effort? isn't it like, right on top of the control remaps? digital to analogue something
@@GrumpyWolfTech they're saying that at the time that crash bandicoot released, the original PS controller was the only thing out which was basically like an SNES controller with 2 more shoulder buttons.... so that's why there was no support for the analog sticks. Seasonic is cool af, just buys sponsor spot to wish happy holidays so wholesome
An electronics store in my country sent me a handwritten card for my birthday with a small bar of chocolate. No discount coupons as a birthday present (I find that pretty rude), no "check out our store" or "download our app". Just: "We wish you an amazing birthday", with a little heart drawn underneath it. @@fran.klindic fixin the bugs that i didn’t know exiat nais
Finally an intro worthy of Anthony's appearance. Bravo.
They finally gave Anthony the intro he deserves.
I just wanna say i actually really like that seasonic didnt try to push any items or talking points so it was basically just a holiday message. Thats really cool and actually makes me want to buy seasonic more than if they had pushed some specific item Etc. Good job
I hope this doesn't ruin things, because Microsoft has created the greatest developer experience ever. I've bought a retail XBox one 2 years ago, signed up for that dev account and had my code running on my retail machine in minutes! My mind was completely blown and it's amazing...
