Minecraft is basically a easy to understand 3d modeling engine, it doesnt do scale or small objects well, but you can get the feel of a project to be right even if the dimensions are out of wack
Yeah, when my grandparent saw me building in minecraft he thought it was for modeling and stuff, he even wanted to use it for that, I had to explain to hime that it was actually a videogame :))
Another quite good tool that is much more capable: SketchUp It's very easy to learn the basics and is much better suited for something like this as it can also handle different angles as well as curves and more advanced shapes like chairs. Minecraft is enough for some things but it does limit you somewhat in terms of angles unless you bud on a very large scale.
I can imagine the landscapers were pretty happy to see that he DID have a solid idea in mind but also a visual representation that they could follow so they didn't have to hear the "No that's not quite what I was interested in" from ya Grian. Well done!

Go0d joke
LMAO 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I LOVE IT
Yup
Wow these are really good graphics, its almost like it's real life!
This is epic. Minecraft is more than a game when you can literally make a place in the game that is then made in real life.
You can do that with many games -.-
@@cj-3810 for example...
CJ - Give us at least 5 of the “Many”
CJ - if your thinking about fortnite keep on dreaming.
Architecture was my wish before but ya know it's hard to go with time but now I'm doing engineering!
It’s been a YEAR in the making?!
So this is what you meant when you said “I’ve been busy in real life.”
alison peace yes it did
Y e s
I thought of something worse like someone in the hospital or something like that
Now he's not that busy irl anymore
well, he is also marrying, but also yeah!!
This is one of the most original Minecraft videos EVER. So interesting to watch this entire video, cause I have never seen anyone do this sort of thing on YT before. Amazing content, no joke :o
campagnian I’ve seen lots of people do it except backwards
that was amazing! both you and the landscapers really did a great job on this!
The “real life” just looked like some really computer breaking shaders.
The cats war so real... can he link the mods?
even the grian in the game looks so real the AI must be out of this world
It took me a moment to realise that it was real life
wheres the texture pack Grian?
It looks like rtx just got an upgrade. And it came to java
When he switched from minecraft to reality I thought for a sec it was just a really good texture pack that’s how good it looked
Same
i thought i was the only one
The first picture looked exactly the same to me
Same here
Same
Grian 2017: "I made my real life house in Minecraft"
Grian 2020: "I made Minecraft in my real life garden"
i was seriously impressed with how this all turned out, it looks so well done and pretty close to the minecraft counterpart, i think i may use this technique to design stuff irl aswell ahahaha
Renovater: So, where is your design plan?
Grain: *logs onto Minecraft* I’ll show you
not to hate lol, but it's: *where is your design plans*
Kastor It would be “where are” not “where is”
or you could do “where is your design plan”/// or “where are your design plans, but assuming that he only has 1 design plan it would be “where is your design plan”
Grain😂😂😂😂
renovator : *see design* Wait i, tought i just saw you login into minecraft
grian : this is minecraft
renovator : excuse me?
Imagine being the landscaper and he asks: What should I do?
and Grian sends him a minecraft world
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Congrats you made me wake my parents up with laugh
Landscaper: What the bloody hell is this?
🤣🤣🤣
Lol so true!
I like how Grian’s like, “This is Minecraft and this is my cat.”
i'd say about 9/10 very lovely job i really enjoyed the garden and how it was made good job keep up the good work!
Grian: “lets make my garden in real life”
Mumbo: “so the bunker goes here and the villager bree-“
Oh no no
Ok then but you forgot about the super laser
Cap’n Doge I don’t think u get the joke
If i say villager bree
Lol
Take my advice: whatever you’re trying to do to your house don’t dig more than 3 meters. I don’t want you fall in to the void and die.
lol
Lololololol
I am 2,10 meters so I don’t care.
There is no “void” or whatever in teal life please think before you comment

"on a scale of 1-10, how did i do?"
i'm not sure its possible to put it on any scale, its just that good!
