- ðī Transfer PokÃĐmon from PokÃĐmon Red to PokÃĐmon Emerald with Poke Transporter GB! ð
In this tutorial, we dive into the exciting world of cross-generational PokÃĐmon transfers! Poke Transporter GB is a powerful tool that allows you to migrate your beloved PokÃĐmon from classic Game Boy titles like PokÃĐmon Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, and Crystal to the more recent PokÃĐmon Ruby, Sapphire, FireRed, LeafGreen, and Emerald.
I HAVE UPDATED the description and this pinned comment with the link to the program. Join my Discord. discord.com/invite/YGQqhENa
here is the fixed new version don't thank me thank @thegearsofprogress1964 the developer of PB Transporter.

So if you are playing on fire red or leaf green the program will tell you where to go but you go to Bill's house for now. And 114 on Emerald (Lanettes) house before Meteor Falls just past Fallabor Town.
Thank you. Why do developers make it so damn hard to find the compiled programs so often? I would never have been able to find it if you didn't post this link. Devs really need to realise that not everybody knows github and how it works, and it's very intimidating to look at and when the file we're meant to download is hidden, it's just a miserable time for people who aren't programmers.
Great video!! I loved seeing the whole process and I really appreciate the kind words about my program!! So glad you enjoyed! :D
Thanks Gear. It's an honor man
So YOU'RE THE CREATOR
The lengths that people go to bring their og pokemon team all the way to the newest pokemon games is insane! I love it !
What I really like about this is that it retains all the OT data so the original ID from whatever game you're playing on plus it also retains the original trainer name like Stadium. In a lot of cases the Pokemon can learn those new moves again in a different generation it just depends. I just feel like this is the most official looking product and that really like how it's designed and I'm really grateful my friend got me to do a tutorial on it. My friend is a big preservationalist.
@@retronyte thatâs awesome ! Good luck on your channel !
I really like your name you're welcome to join the Discord or you're welcome to add me on Discord it's the same name that I have here and I'll invite you to the server
@@retronyte thanks man. Sounds good ððŋ
Are you Krypt (Dil?)
My only gripe is that the Gen 1/2 to 3 transfer seems like it gets rid of anything not in the pokÃĐmons natural move pool, which means the surfing Pikachu is now just a Pikachu, and any Stadium/Event moves will be removed (not that it seems people have managed to recreate gen 1 and 2 events just yet, but still), which means sure you transfered it, but now it's just a normal mon
There, are several programs to my understanding, If you look in the comment section the owner and dev, thought about making a menu, to send those transfer moves up. maybe its just me but its cool it retains the OG IDS, and OT so that the it can be known those are for example the Pokemon Stadium 2 Events ( Baton Pass Farfetch'd and Earthquake Gligar) with OT Stadium. however, while Gears and I acknowledge, the other programs with varius videos, I do appreciate your understanding and support.
Unfortunately they have to do it that way for people who are sending the pokemon through to the newest games. If they aren't seen as legitimate pokemon then they'll be blocked from getting into bank/home.
It's a fine line trying to keep Pokemon legal for when they reach Pokemon Bank, while still keeping the things that make each one unique. I'm adding Surf to Pikachu's move pool in the next release since it can get it in HGSS, but I wasn't familiar with the other Stadium and Event moves- do you know of a list of them so I can see if any more can be added?
pretty sure even moving a surfing pikachu from gen 3 to 4 is not possible either. if you got one from the pichu egg with surf
I couldn't have asked for a more perfect solution, exactly what I needed to help me release my PokÃĐmon from Emerald to Scarlet; the video was absolutely fantastic, easy to follow, and did wonders for my sanity.
Let me link you to the newest version of the program, OH WICKED you have everything to transfer your pokemon from old times. the version we used in the video was not working with GSC, here is the fixed new version don't thank me thank @thegearsofprogress1964 the developer of PB Transporter.

Your mons don't have the gameboy mark cause, believe it or not, they are not from gen1 or gen2, but from gen3, as the providence id had to be set at a game from gen3 in the gen3 game. Thing is that the only way to have an actual mon from gen1 or gen2 will always be passing from the virtual console games, or find a way to connect your gameboy to pokemon sun and moon.
if you connect the purple ends of two gba link cables into each others hub boxes then plug the gray ends into the gba consoles, you are able to link game boy games this way
I'm pretty sure the Gamecube's Gameboy Player *does* have a Link Cable port and functionality.
It does
Wonderful! Fans do what Nintendon't.
You can thank gear he's actually in the comment section above talking about the program and he is the developer of the program huge shots to everybody that actually has all of the game systems used in order to do this I can't wait to do it I don't have any of them my amazing friend recorded the footage for me so that I can get the tutorial out
Retro how dare you get Pikachu, Squirtle, Charizard, Mewtwo, and Dragonite and leave out Venusaur!
I mean you're going to have to get with @angelofnight091. I don't know if you can tell but it's his equipment his save file; not mine haha
Wow. I never thought of bringing in my Emerald PokÃĐmon. I wanna do this.
you should and if you need help, hit me up on Discord and if you cannot get me let me know
Great tutorial! You did a fantastic job!
Thank you! Cheers!
This is cool but sadly my og gen 1 and gen 2 pokemon are gone due to dead batteries
F in the chat for the OGS
I have seen someone on youtube make a contraption that was able to trade with a gbc gen2 game with gba gen3
I am aware of it, however, I chose to do this tutorial, because its the most official looking hardware. plus older events, still transfer and maintain ID and OT
Why do they remove the moves of Pokemon when the Pokemon are transfer to a Pokemon home?
Because they were moves that were actually removed in sword and shield and Scarlet and violet so probably preparation to move them into home so that they can be exchanged between those two games if I had to guess
Man this is awesome!
Sadly I do not have the everdrive for the gba, or else I would do this.
But I do have pkhex, so I might be able to recreate Stadium gift pokemon for gen 3 and then transfer them up, it just doesnât feel the same as the originals tho
I mean I don't have any of the software or hardware either. But I have an incredible friend who does and he helped record all the footage @angelofthenight091. Which stadium gift Pokemon?
â@@retronyteI assume he's talking about Amnesia Psyduck and other unique pokemon given as rewards.
You talking about like earthquake gligar and baton pass farfetched? I mean you would have to use a different tool in order to retain those moves but the problem is they're not going to pass Pokemon Bank. I don't really think it's that big of a deal because scarlet and violet already removes moves from Pokemon. I don't think it's that big of a deal personally just because they retain their OT and ID value
@@aikou2886 Yes I think it's cool to have all the gift pokemon with the original stadium ot and id, also I am a she :p
@@retronyte I just flashed the rom over a fake gba game using an r4 and dslite and that worked you do not need a gba flash cart any cheap bootleg will do.
it is honestly dumb how they never made it legit possible to trade it to gen 3 what im going to do once ive complete red go onto yellow etc etc i will just convert my save on my physical game to the virtual console 3ds version and then upload it to the pokemon bank
I have updated the pinned comment to reflect where you need to go for pokÃĐmon fire red and leaf green if you're using it to transfer your pokÃĐmon instead of Pokemon Emerald.
Wait... .ds files can run on a GBA?
That was a mistake on my part it is GBA file a custom one.
1:06 .gba file, not .ds file.
oh, a custom gba rom, on a flashkart, gotcha!
@@retronyte Can be done with an r4 if you have a bootleg game you can flash over with this rom flashed the rom over my fake firered swapped the carts and it worked.
hello, wheres the link to the brew?
Are you needing the link to the GitHub? Posted in another comment but I'll add it to the description.
Where do I need to go to get that modified emerald?
To clarify, I already have an everdrive, I just need the file
I'm going to guess you mean you need GB Transporter? If you'll look down below I actually replied to another comment on this video with the link to the GitHub and the direct link to the download do you have any trouble or need any help my Discord is there or it's Retronyte.
github.com/GearsProgress/Poke_Transporter_GB this should be what you need
@yoshiwoollyworld The latest release is compatible with all five generation 3 games :)
â@yoshiwoollyworldwhile it's compatible what you would do is you would boot that custom file and in the beginning of it it's going to ask you where you want to migrate the Pokemon from so you pick fire red or leaf green instead of emerald. However the video is actually using a version before the version that was working properly with FRLG and GSC. So all you need to do is boot the program and migrate from fire red it's going to give you the option
Can I use this method for Emulators?
Can you explain a bit further? I'll forward this to the developer of the program
â@@retronyte This kinda works with MGBA but connection drops. I saw a review from some guy on GitHub.
â@@retronyteTransfering PokÃĐmon from Emulator to Emulator without using PKHEX.
@@retronyte MGBA compatible with the tool but the connection breaks. Happened with a person on GitHub.
I mean, transfering PokÃĐmon to a game to another from Emulator to Emulator without the use of other "tools"
You need a fake gba game if you want to do this using an r4 use the r4 in a ds lite with gba bf to flash the rom over a bootleg gba game.
I have only. DS Phat. No GBA and No GBC. Sadly.
Or just use PKhex
Oh man I didn't think about everything I Did not think about using that thanks so much
You knew what this video was about. Why watch it if you have a "better" option?
holy shit way too long
I trimmed it down as much as I could. It's a journey through 9 generations
@@retronyte Theres another program that can trade pokemon you caught in gen 3 to gen 1 and 2 if they are in those games useful if you want to use those pokemon on pokemon stadium for example. It moves all gen 3 data and moves form them though and that data is basically gone so either make backups of them or use pokemon you don't care about data being lost on.
