- Gary Oak should have gone to Hoenn. So I made a game where he does! Oh, and its a hardcore Nuzlocke, because why not?
Since he didn't I needed to make a game showing what his Hoenn Journey could have looked like. Basically, I modified Pokémon Emerald to play through it as Gary, and will only get the Pokémon he did during his Journey. Lets see if he's strong enough to win the Lilly of the valley conference!

Agreed. It’s ok that ash got other rivals in the following regions, but it would have been cool if Gary showed up a bit more
@@NuzlockeJoe he should have gotten other rivals but always have had Gary looming as the original always in his shadow but always getting better until ash won the championship finally byy beating gary in the finals of that tourny

Gary as a main character is just awesome. Infact, I'd not complain if he had his own episodes, as he's interesting enough to have some.

but also an electric move one-shotting a steel/electric type was very anime-logic of it

Not Gary, that's blue. Blue has a sister, in manga/games, Gary never had a sister in the anime.

IDK, its hard to compare anime strength vs game/manga strength. I mean, Ash is technically the world champion now, so that's worth something.

Good question. No, in the anime Gary oak does not have a sister. Daisy is blues sister though, and in the electric tale of pikachu she is his sister.
