That’s not far off from how it normally is. Actually that’s how I also felt when i first played this game when I was like 8. I remember thinking how stupid the gym leaders were for only having a couple pokemon but whatever. Maybe they’re just like an easy test of skill you’re supposed to pass. No excuse for your rival or the criminals not having full teams though. And why do they always have really weak pokemon like ratatta and zubat. Bro any random pokemon you catch directly next to you is better. Further, how are you even adventuring out here in the wild with a machop and geodude that would die to the first random encounter let alone any trainer? And you’re still at full health out here? There’s trainers in the final area like this. Meaning they beat the entire adventure and every gym leader with the 2 garbage Pokémon you battle them as. I remember this would be a challenge, see if you can beat the entire game with what they gave at the indigo plateau… and no they didn’t catch anything else because they don’t even have their entire tab filled up still. Also it’s incredibly lucky your hometown is in pallet town and not cinnebar island. Imagine being born there and you get a level 5 bulbasaur who can’t swim or fly so you’re just stuck. Can’t even level him up because every enemy will 1 shot you.
@@LeetHaxington still, doesn't excuse the Elite 4 and specially the champion, they supposedly trained hard af to reach that place and they're supposedly not going easy on you, although you can argue the gyms are easier in order to test you, I don't think it works the same way for the 5 I mentioned

Well as glitchless as you can for these games... they are held together by spit and wish after all. It's kinda funny the most well programed part is the slots in Celadon. Imagen if the glitchless category meant no glitches at all and everytime you or the enemy got a gen 1 miss (100 accuracy moves have a 1 in 256 chance to miss) or used focus energy (makes crits ¼ instead of 4X) it voids the run... that would be awful.
I'm glad you did this glitchless! While the glitched runs are fun to see once and are interesting from a technical point of view, I feel like there's more to offer from the glitchless category especially in viewing experience
