She is wonderful. I just saw Little Women and she was fantastic. She is quickly becoming one of my favorite actresses.
Try watching Lady Bird 😃
Same😍
I love her, and some day I’m going to tell her
Same. I've been wanting to watch Lady Bird for a while but haven't been able to
I loved her since Atonement...😁
"i'm fluent in nonsense." - Kate McKinnon, 2017
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Saoirse Ronan is unbelievable gorgeous and stunning.

@@shreyasharma552 Really? Did you look at her?
@@davidsosa538 who?
lmao kate called her "lovely bones"
3star4life I was looking through the comments to see if anyone else noticed
lusy may you know, I was really surprised that no one else did! Lol
Lol, was just doing the same. Thought for a second that no one else picked up on that.
And?
Darren Evans she was in the movie "the lovely bones" when she was younger
Saoirse is a jack of all trades actress. She can do accents real well.
She's just so cute. She has a very unique and hard to pronounce name and I liked the jokes they made about it. Her tips were helpful especially the tip about her name sounding like inertia.
Trump 2020! WOOOOOOOOOO!!!
I have an Irish Sister, she looks like her, talltoo! ;)
Simon James ha it’s not hard to pronounce at all, and that’s not just because I’m irish
Her name isn't rare at all.
Ohh I got a cousin named inertia
Hey sorcheese
scorsese
No. It's Seashell
*THANKS BECK.*
Sore cheese

best line: (Kate McKinnon) "Of course I got it; I'm fluent in nonsense. I've been here six seasons. You know how many raccoons I've played?"
ZenGeekDad underrated comment to highlight an underrated line
So how many?
@@Chentzilla y es
no one laughed when she said “lovely bones i can’t say no to you” and it really made me mad.
Ok - I wondered if that was just a coincidence or an actual reference; thanks for validating it 👍
The only good joke, this whole unpronounceable name thing is really played out now
xx__Ni-Kawaii-Princess__xx omg is she the lead actress of that movie???
@@boop9430 yassss.
Cause it wasn't funny.
If you don't know her, she is a two-time Oscar-nominated actress. Her first nomination was for Atonement, where she was only 13 years old. Her credits include Hanna, Brooklyn, and The Grand Budapest Hotel.
Korcsmaros and The lovely bones. Such a good movie
How I Live Now was also amazing!
To add to that list - Lady Bird, with a bunch of Oscar, Golden Globe,... etc. nominations and wins. And a whopping 99% Rotten Tomatoes score.
atonement was so great
Make it three now @@irenerthedreamer
I never knew this was a parody of Liza Minnelli's thing, I was like, "wow the writers are genius"
What Liza Minelli thing? Got a link?

TheConorsmithusa, I never heard before of the Ronan Empire. Did you borrow it from that film, Gauldiator?

In Ireland, saying “goodbye” is actually saying goodbye to everyone at a party for over an hour after you said you were leaving.
Lol Indians are like that too 🤣😂
Germans do that too
Whereas the english goodbye is slapping your knees and going: "Right!"
Enda Farrell Bruh Indians do that

Saoirse name lyrics:
It's Saoirse with an er
Not Saoirse with an or
'Cause Saoirse with an or

It's sh instead of ss
And er instead of ee
Simple as can be
It's Saoirse. See.

Beck name lyrics:
It's Beck with a B
It's Beck with an E
It's Beck with a C
It's Beck
Please tell us how many times you had to watch this and hit pause to type the lyrics.
Elizabeth Dyrdahl surprisingly only had to watch two or three times but correcting her name from the auto-correction so many times took quite long!
Tyler Jake - Well done. You saved me a whole lot of work!
Thats soe catch shit i like it😍😍
Okay the song was really catchy though!
It's a play on Liza Minelli's "Liza with a Z" it goes "Liza with a Z not Lisa with an S cause Liza with a Z goes zzz not sss"
It's Veronique with a V not with a B la laa laaaaa...ok I need to work on that...
Oh... I've been enjoying it way too much... watching it and trying to sing along!
Karen shut up
Karen Too bad I couldn’t sing along
Saoirse is such a great talent. Her performance in Ladybird blew me away.
American Pancake I hope she gets an Oscar nomination
@@austinpearce5442 She got one at 13, so all the rest will probably not make much of a difference.
I just saw her in little women and she was incredible !
She’s so talented and all she gets to talk about is her name. It isn’t even that hard to pronounce once you hear it
I just saw her in Lady Bird. Its a fucking incredible movie!
@Cockney John yep completely overrated and the mum in it is really annoying.
anz10 that was kind of a point of the mom
Anyone who attended a Catholic high school in the United States can relate to this wonderful film, just like anyone who is Irish-American and/or Italian-American can relate to the superb film, “Brooklyn.”
Saoirse Ronan at 70 years of age: It's difficult to pronounce.. You can just call me cerise
Cersie😂
Saoirse is absolutely adorable - I really enjoy watching her in every show, video, and movie she does - she's always on point and so happy!
Saoirse has been nominated for four Oscars and to this day the only joke people can think of is how to say her name
Thats one joke. Im pretty sure people know more jokes than that.
I love her Irish accent! It made "Brooklyn" all the more delightful.
This was the cutest SNL monologue 😂
"Hey, sore cheese" :)
"Oh, lovely bones, I can't say no to you" hahahaha
"Oh, Lovely Bones, I can't say no to you." And another fanfic pairing is made.
She is seriously the most adorable and attractive person ever
ikr she’s perfect
It's hard to keep my eyes off Saoirse. She's magical.
She is so beautiful and talented 😍
*She's cute when singing*

Scorsese Ronan is so lovely
Love how the announcer hesitated a little bit before saying her name.
I love Saoirse so muuuch
I love her voice so adorable.
“How can I say no to you Lovely Bones” 😭😩
I wish her monologue was longer.
😂😂when Kate said “oh lovely bones” that reference was epic and that movie was sad 😭
it was so sad i couldn't even finish it :') it was making me feel sick haha
I can never get used to professionals staring at the cue cards. I really like Saoirse films. Hannah was incredible.
I love her personality she is so amazing I wish that I could meet her someday, she is my favorite actress!
I like her! Since City of Ember!! Very lovely face and good acting 😍😍
That movement and the "she's gone" was such good acting. It's magical watching a pro being a pro while doing even the most mundane things.
she's so pure and adorable
Did anyone come back here after the Liza Minelli "Liza with a z" part in Halston?
My girl has come so far 😭 I'm so proud of her
I'm an Irishman working in the USA.
When I hear Saoirse's voice I long for my homeland.
You should go back then and stay there.
Her voice is amazing.
Anyone remember her from City of Ember? I'm sure it wasn't that popular of a movie but it was the first movie I saw her in.
Yeah I knew her from that too
How old was she in that? ... I think the first movie I saw her In was atonement , when she was about 8 or 9
Same
That was the first movie I ever saw her in. We actually went on a field trip to see City of Ember at school.
ShifTy 15 OMG THAT WAS HER??? WHATTTT
She is so talented. I love her
SHE CALLED HER “LOVELY BONES” bye
i wish she had a podcaast i can listen to her voice for hours
wow, she had such a convincing accent in Lady Bird that I didn't even know she was Irish
My favorite young actress! Shout out to Saoirse!
I feel her pain
Grainne O'Hare lol I bet you do!
Granny?
Graunya? Right.?
Germany, right?
Grainne O'Hare me too
She is actually the cutest thing ever 😍😂😍 "man said it's a typo"
Ngl, every time she pronounces her name I hear something different
man her cheekbones. have been in love with her for over 4 years now
Pretty catchy tune. Would love to see her rehearsal. Haha. She's an amazing actor. Oscar soon... then the curse.
Ms. Ronan will win the Oscar this year. Her performance in 'Lady Bird' was absolutely remarkable.
I have a niece named Saoirse, who is 4 today and, like every other Irish person (except Saoirse Ronan), she pronounces it "Seer-sheh", not "Sur-sheh".
@Rusty Shackleford right! Mine is Fitzpatrick, very Irish. How hard can it be? I get Fitzgerald, Fitsimmons, Fitzwilly, Titspatrick, Pitspatrick...no lie...either called one or got one on a bill, statement.
She can act on and off stage. Love her
I love her.
Saoirse is great! Definitely wasn't expecting to like her hosting as much as I did!
I think "Saoirse like inertia" is more helpful than this entire song just sayin'
I have never heard someone say "you couldn't afford" this cute
I’m kinda noticing that Beck is a lowkey Himbo
saoirse ronan is an icon
Why is everyone hating on this girl and her monologue. Pretty much every monologue is something the host experiences or is personal to them. This monologues no different. Leave her alone. Make yourselves useful and go troll trump or some white nationalists
Rick Trump is a great man and this was a great monologue
her whole career is how to pronounce her name
Please, tell me I'm not the only one who atually learnt how to pronounce her name after hearing this song 😂😂😂😂
Beck: scares saoirse “hi *SORE CHEESE* BAHAHAHA

😱 That Accent Though!!! 😱
The dress is gorgeous.
Everyone: *this*
Me, an Intellectual: *Liza with a Z*

It's Beck with a B
It's Beck with an E
It's Beck with C
IT'S Bec????
It gets me every time
"I'm fluent in nonsense." 😂
Saoirse is a beautiful human!!!
And yet most Irish people would pronounce her name- seersha ....
Karie Reilly, she's from the Pale, and the Pale is... different.
Keith Gaughan I’m from the Pale too !
Depends where you're from. Someone might know more than me but I think the difference in pronunciation historically (that happens with a lot of Irish names) has to do with differences in accent.
itsonlysound interesting! I’m from Meath
I dunno if I'd consider 'Meath' to be the Pale: that's more Dublin, Kildare, north Wicklow, and the bits of eastern Meath and south Louth that contain Dublin tendrils. OTOH, she's from Dublin, and that's *definitely* the Pale.
I love how natural she is
She will be a force as an actress, probably winning multiple academy awards. She fit right in with the cast in this episode, she could make it as a cast member although she's a serious actress.
why is this the cutest thing ever
"I can pronounce your name cos I'm actually Irish."
Saoirse should have said "You wish!"
“I’m fluent in nonsense” is the most accurate read of myself I’ve ever heard.
She's amazing ❤️❣️
She's actually so adorable aww
Okay can we stop asking her now... there is so much more to a person than where they come from and their name.
She's adorable, I love her
Stan saoirse and timmy
Loved her in Brooklyn, Lost River, and Lady Bird.
Shame Kristen Wiig wasn't in this episode, since Saoirse never shuts up about her. It would've been awesome if they both did a sketch where Saoirse played Kristen's insane number one fan, and she won't leave her alone.
interesting. so saoirse ronan likes despicable me and looney tunes and stuff? or what?
She’s GORGEOUS
Now Liza with a z is stuck in my head
Lola Bolarianista Liza with a 'z', not Liza with a 's', because Liza with a 's' goes *snuh* .. My mom loves that song.
"little brown girl! "
It's not a hat it's her hair as Liza would say lol
wrong liza sweetie lol
The guy that plays the sax, played the piccolo!!
I don't know about her romantic life, but Saoirse is probably one of the few high profile celebrities her age that want a lasting marriage.
Valid.
She is such a talented young actress, since she was very little she has done great parts like Atonement ,and she keeps getting better and better !
To be honest it annoys me when she said her name is spelt wrong. Like I’m aware it’s hard for her because foreigners can’t pronounce her name but her name is spelt right and it makes absolute sense in Irish!
Her body language is of a goddess.
What a lovely lady
It’s Saoirse with an “er”
Not Saoirse with an “R”
Because Saoirse with an “R” goes “arr” not “er”
It’s “shh” instead of “sss”
“Uh” instead of “E”
Simple as can be
See, Saoirse!
Hey joy
NGL after hearing the song I'm more confused than ever..
How can a person be so stunning?
I remember Ryan Gosling taught us to pronounce her name a couple of years ago
