All the questions are approved beforehand by her production team. If the question's in, it's because she wants it to be in. And why does she want the name question, you ask? Because it helps people to remember it, which is extremely valuable and sets her apart as an actress and a public figure.
Not everyone who watches this video is a fan of hers who went out of their way to see it. This is the first interview I've ever seen of her, which I only came across because I'm subscribed to vogue, and I literally had no idea how her name was pronounced. Therefore, I'm so glad he brought up her name!!! I was walking around telling people I loved "say-or-eeese" in the movie Brooklyn, and despite that sounding nothing like it or even like the spelling, no one told me otherwise! Lol
I think it is so important because not everyone knows that her name is pronounced that way and i hope one day she will be so popular and big that everyone will know and she wont have to be asked about it anymore !! Also i am so glad that she didnt change her name to something easier to pronounce !

She's right, "How I live now" is really underappreciated. Her acting was absolutely brilliant and the film itself is really powerful, even though it kinda made me feel uncomfortable and completely terrified me :D
I love that movie so much. I wish more people had seen it, but I understand what you mean about it being slightly terrifying and uncomfortable in parts.

(Spoiler for the film) No, not even the incest. The scene where she was looking at the dead bodies to find her boyfriend really terrified me, probably because of Saoirse's great acting, you could really feel her character break apart. Same with the scene where she was running through the woods and someone attacked her (I think?? Honestly, it's been years since I watched it, so I don't really remember). But it's also the overall mood, which I think is rather depressing. I guess what really terrified me about the movie is that it depicted war in such a realistic but also gruesome way and showed the emotional effect it has on human beings.
