She is so sensible and level-headed, she knows : dating is a cliche. I never dated before my first partner (it didn't appeal to me and it sounded too risky and edgy with lots of price on it: drama and your heart) : I just met people, mingled and made friends, then a happy accident was when my best friend and I were in love. We were then good friends, and we knew we wanted the best for each other. Know the person and make sure things are worth it before you bring your heart on the table. This way even if it didn't work out, you can find strength to pass it and separate as good friends. We have that too : people don't always walk the same path in life. Good for you Saorise .. just be yourself and do you.
I am not sure I agree on it being called a good old-fashioned way. My grandmother and my mother both married to good men they didn't love (that's a sad story on it's own). I kind of dislike how much inadvertent pressure Ellen puts on Saoirse for starting to date. Seriously, not every 23 year old young woman has to be looking for a partner; it just seems like that's the current expectation now
Nikki Pop I agree. Many men are now choosing not to get married. There simply not interested in women anymore. MGTOW is a growing group around the world that has become hugely popular.
Saoirse is so much fun and interesting to listen to. I'm still trying to plug this Saoirse into my head after first seeing her in "Hanna." No Irish accent then, 15 years old and tougher than nails, much of the film made inside the Arctic Circle, then Germany, and maybe Morocco's hot desert. I bought the film on line as soon as I saw it. Had to have it and still pull it out once in a while to watch again. I'm looking forward to many more movies in the future. But above all else, ya gotta love all that Irish in her!!!
Ha, that is where I first saw her, Thanks for bringing the movie with Saoirse, she is indeed tough girl in that movie and she is smart to watch her interviews, the way she processes and analyses before giving out the answer, I never seen a celebrity doing that, Thanks once again, :)
That was her in “Hanna”??? I loved that movie, saw it when it in the theater when it came out! I just like to hear her talk with her accent, but I loved her in “Hanna”. I want to rewatch it now!

I didn't mean to watch the entire video but she is so entertaining and charming. So beautiful, too. "When Irish eyes are smiling..." I can see glimpses of my beautiful mother in her.
The whole "Date" thing We in Ireland don't go for... Ppl don't ask Ppl to go on a Date They ask do they wanna go for a drink or dinner or whatever.. We don't use the term Date It's so much more relaxed in Ireland than the US
I don’t think we in the states actually ask people for “dates” very often. It’s the same as you. We ask someone out to dinner, drinks, movies, etc. At least in my experience. 😍
You understand that going for a drink or dinner, is a date, right? No one actually walks up to someone else and says, "Would you like to go on a date?" :/
I hate the way this is edited. I get it, I don’t like it. The reaction to a comment is lost when we cut to another interview, that we’ve been trying to follow from minutes before. It’s an odd, somewhat disorienting way of editing these things together and it loses momentum. Saoirse is adorable, though.
Oh em gee I was going to say the same thing. It’s like someone with the remote to the TV always switching it at the worst moment. Kills the momentum horribly.
It was kind of a shock to here her real accent. I first saw her in "Hanna" and there was no sign of that at all. I looked her up to find out about her. She was born in NY. Perfect. But later on I here her on the talk shows and she sounds like she got off the boat from Ireland yesterday! Even more of a fan now. Got all the movies on DVD.
Saoirse Ronan is adorable! I'm a long time fan and I hope that she has a very long acting career. I'm sure if she picks the right scripts she'll amass piles and piles of awards! She's that good!
I agree. It feels like some 20-year-old film student's idea of edgy and fast paced. It wasn't. It is really annoying and hard to watch. Her accent requires concentration, and the ham-fisted jump cuts don't help. I have to click away now, @ 6:24.
I’m entirely too old to find her attractive but I do. She’s exactly the type of personality I’d love to have had as a daughter. Cute, smart, funny and worldly. I know she’s going to have a very long acting career....like Maureen O’Hara!
"I’m entirely too old to find her attractive but I do." She's beautiful and smart, why not find her attractive? I'm 70 and I'm utterly attracted to Saoirse Ronan. There is nothing in nature forbidding the elderly from having sexual feelings, even for those younger, or that disallows appreciating youth and beauty -- even if we are too old to act on those urges! If society frowns upon the elderly from expressing human emotions and feelings then you're in the wrong society!
I first saw her in City of Ember. Loved her since then. So glad to see her succeeding. And remember being so surprised the first time I heard her accent. Hehe
Extremely classy and adorable! Very seldom that somebody's inner beauty matches their outer Beauty, while at the same time, uncommonly humble! A far superior role model compared to 80% of the young Stars that are famous today!
Love how Saoirse just dead ass refuses to get taken down by all the dating talk, that's my queen

She's incredibly pretty
The whole "Date" thing We in Ireland don't go for...
Ppl don't ask Ppl to go on a Date
They ask do they wanna go for a drink or dinner or whatever.. We don't use the term Date
It's so much more relaxed in Ireland than the US
It's the same here as well... many of us don't date.
I don’t think we in the states actually ask people for “dates” very often. It’s the same as you. We ask someone out to dinner, drinks, movies, etc. At least in my experience. 😍
Most people here don’t say “do you wanna go on a date” either. It’s the same as you said it is Ireland.
Will Eaton no but like we don’t say the word date its considered too american we just say “go out” or are more direct like the “drinks” thing
You understand that going for a drink or dinner, is a date, right? No one actually walks up to someone else and says, "Would you like to go on a date?" :/
God I love Saorise Ronan, she is so adorable and that accent is freaking awesome. You can just tell she would be such a cool person in real life.
This girl is absolutely gorgeous she's so adorable and stunning at the same time
I hate the way this is edited. I get it, I don’t like it. The reaction to a comment is lost when we cut to another interview, that we’ve been trying to follow from minutes before. It’s an odd, somewhat disorienting way of editing these things together and it loses momentum. Saoirse is adorable, though.
and the fucking music
Oh em gee I was going to say the same thing. It’s like someone with the remote to the TV always switching it at the worst moment. Kills the momentum horribly.
They can’t do the whole interview bc they don’t have the rights. They have to cut it off so they can post their video.
The full interviews are on all TH-cam
It's a great trick to keep you watching.
I love her so much, she is pretty, smart, and funny🤍🤍🤍
Cup of tea and a shortbread biscuit, life really is instantly better.
I adore her💜 so down to earth..I truly hope she stays that way..
I never ever get tired of listening to her. You can't say that about just anyone.
Saoirse Ronan is adorable! I'm a long time fan and I hope that she has a very long acting career. I'm sure if she picks the right scripts she'll amass piles and piles of awards! She's that good!
Saoirse is such a treasure. I'd 100% listen to an ASMR channel if she was the one speaking.
She's absolutely gorgeous, funny and very smart in a very weird cute way. She's perfect ❤️
I finally heard her say potato.
big mike live is complete now
I can die peacefully now
That irish lilt literally melts my ❤. " I like Irish girls" from Brooklyn
What an absolute delight 💞 such a funny sweet woman 🍀
I cant get enough of her accent
Her voice is perfect
She is just one mighty woman. We Irish are very proud of her.As they would say at home She is a credit to her parents.
Life IS infinitely better with tea and biscuits! Saoirse Ronan seems like she'd be an absolute delight to hang out with, have a cup of tea and chat.
I could listen to Saoirse all day 😊
skip the music and you have a winner.
Love Her great Ambassador for Ireland and great role model as well God bless her
Love her . Love her accent. Love the Irish ❤️
what a genuinely nice person she is.
Mr. and Mrs. Ronan must be great parents with such a lovely, talented, vivacious and beautiful daughter.
She's beautiful, funny, smart and charismatic. Whoever wins her hand will be one lucky guy.
idk why, but i feel like Saoirse Ronan and Tom Hiddleston would be epic together xD
Never knew she has such a strong accent! I love her movies especially The Lovely Bones...
The lovely bones and the HOST
All of them actually 😭😂😂😂😂
Irish queen
We have no queen. Never have and never will. So do not compare this fake bitch to a queen.
Will your spot on. She is a complete and utter moron
Niall and will shut the fuck up. If you dont have a good word to say shut up.
Will fyi im not mexican and im not a c***.
@@niallbyrne204 grow up ya gobshite
What is the gypsy jazz backing music…. I love it and it adds so much character 😂
You cut off so many of the clips a moment too soon!
Hope Springs-A-Turtle just an editing technique.
Barry Hardin Duh. 🙄 it’s irritating and makes me not want to watch.
I agree. It feels like some 20-year-old film student's idea of edgy and fast paced. It wasn't. It is really annoying and hard to watch. Her accent requires concentration, and the ham-fisted jump cuts don't help. I have to click away now, @ 6:24.
Hope Springs-A-Turtle then dont lmao
barry yeah, I think we get it's an editing technique. It's stupid and ADD
My day needs peeking up? Find a video of Saoirse talking. Works every time. 😀
From now on, my dream girl has an irish accent and sky-blue eyes.
Saoirse is just lovely and cute as a button.
this young lady is flawless un every way!
LoKi That’s literally the least wrong part of it.
Great actress, very funny gal, and beautiful.
i love the irish accent so much and shes so cute!
I love you Saoirse, you are brilliant!
One of the most genuine actresses❤️❤️❤️
5 minutes of watching someone talk .... and enjoying it... she's got a different kind of charm without trying
I reckon her and Jennifer Lawrence would get along so well, there humour is so similar
Imo, she's less annoying than Jlaw. Pls dont come @ me its just my opinion 😂
I first saw her in City of Ember. Loved her since then. So glad to see her succeeding. And remember being so surprised the first time I heard her accent. Hehe
She's so great in Hanna, too!!
Man i love her she is absolute perfection in every way possible.
A breath of fresh air!
She is absolutely wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love Saoirse!!!
I get the vibe she would’ve been AMAZING in Harry Potter 😍
She would've been a better Luna than Luna.
Nah Evanna nailed it
Oh my god when she says "I'm kiwi so I gotta talk like that" she did it so well!
background music AAAAAAAAAARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I’m absolutely enchanted with this woman !!!!!
She is stunning in every way possible x x x
She’s awesome
Extremely classy and adorable! Very seldom that somebody's inner beauty matches their outer Beauty, while at the same time, uncommonly humble! A far superior role model compared to 80% of the young Stars that are famous today!
I ADORE HER! What a lovely person.
