  • This simple exercise has profound benefits. Try this at any time of day where you feel you need to down-regulate a little.
    This is not a post about listing all of those benefits, which go far beyond those that I mentioned in the video. This is an opportunity to stop and feel the change that happens when you apply simple tools that focus on regulating your physical and mental state.
    There is a relationship between your breathing rate and depth and your autonomic nervous system. The calmness you feel after this exercise is a reflection of that relationship. A shift toward a calmer state.
