- TX2K18 was firing on all cylinders, the baddest cars in the country gathered for this event. We caught up with Cody Phillips Racing and Dana Westover from Virtual Works Racing, they have arguably two of the cleanest 2000hp race supra's in the world. Cody was out racing with the car for the first time in many years, while Dana has had many runs under his belt. Both cars ended up going toe to toe at a vegas no times shootout. Enjoy the video!

@@easetres8664 who wants a Ferrari? No true car guy, unless you're into solely just collecting. No real race guy would ever buy a Ferrari, much less because it's fast.... because they're not. I own a "built" ctsV, which dynoed 766 at the wheels, and both 488s I've come across had nothing for my car.
The R8/Aventador & Hurrican are the only true super cars bought by car guys who race. UGR has scary fast cars.

Cody was partners with Ryan Woon at Wide Open Throttle Motorsports back in the day. They ran the WOTM Supra twins. Ryan Woon is now big into the PTS Porsche GT cars but he still has the old WOTM car. Cody’s was the one with “WOTM” in red and Ryan’s had the blue “WOTM”. Both were featured in what became superstreet

All these people comparing modernday tuned ferrari's and lambos to this 20 year old car, could a lambo engine from 20 yrs ago pull of 2000hp?
Even today, 1/4 mile world record is held by a supra, not any tuned supercar even from this era could do this.
This car is the street king, its from a different culture, we all should respect its legacy
It's a nice car but these cars are also heavily modified. And I'm no expert but id say pour the amount of money into any car and it would be fast.

Tiny turbo Chevelle My 2j has a much more durable timing belt fact that I have snapped two standard belts in the past. I'm sure too.

The blue supras launch/suspension set up is dailed in. There's little to no weight transfer/squat and the car just darts forward. Who love an indepth on the car
Mugshot Marley it’s got a 9” with ladder bar suspension and shocks set up for drag radial. Most likely very loose rebound and tight front shocks. Pretty basic setup.

yeah and they are faster than the 2020 roadster (they take off so good because they paint the track with a material that grants them extreme grip, that's why their wheels doesn't slip), imagine that the 2020 roadster does 1/4 mile in 8.8 and those supras does them in 7. some, also imagine how fast 2020 roadsters are!, insane!
