As promised here is the video of the Monster Nitrous Supra that I filmed going over 200 mph at the PR 1/2 Mile, this time ripping it at the Dyno with some brutal runs while doing the last minute preparations before the event.

William Preston I think they add more down force on the rear wheels I'm not sure if this was the intended reason for them being there though

I will be filming this car again at another Standing Half Mile Race in less than a month.If everything goes well it should go quite a bit faster this time.
Flat Out Supercars .. man that thing is slick, I have a 94 supra turbo, yes it's a automatic unfortunately lol but I just was wondering if you could give me some advice.. What could I do with the turbos as far as staying with twin, or maybe switching out to a single? I have a boost controller, exhaust and intake on it so far.
Depends on how much power you want to have and the use of the car. Big single turbos setups from what I've seen produce a lot of power but come with lag.Dont be ashamed of the gearbox, it is still a great car.A friend of mine has an N/A MK IV automatic as well, he has a forged 2JZE GTE with a decent single Turbo waiting to be installed which should give him about 500whp.Automatic or not, it should be a fast and fun ride.Ill try to make a few videos of it if I can.

that nitrous shot tried to rip it off the dyno it hit so hard,sounded like it was going backfire then bam another 350 horse in a big dollop and it dropped the arse end :)
I honestly thought for a split second that it was going to take off.Thats one of the reasons why I took a few steps away from it at the end.

If everything goes according to plan, I will be filming it again at another 1/2 Mile race soon and later on at the Dyno with hopefully a few mods done which should yield even more power :D.

By taking a lot of it and mixing it with a huge amount of air and sending it into a heavily reinforced engine that runs at ridonculous RPM.

I used my main camera for this one, a Panasonic FZ1000 recording at 1080p.It could film at an even higher resolution(4k) but then I would lose the 60fps.Thanks for watching!

2JZ a fabulous engine, well built, durable, strong all round, and its specs were under rated (gentlemans agreement in Japan that it could only have 300hp, but possibly has about 33% more power, maybe higher)

That agreement was only for manufactures to not get in trouble thye knew full well when they made engines like theese that they would get tuned to levels like this
There's no way that's a stock 2JZ block. They turn to cheese at around 1200hp or so. Rightly! It's almost certainly billet or reinforced / filled block...

Japan has a law that prohibits a manufacturer from producing a car capable of more than 300 horsepower. You will NEVER see a factory car in Japan surpass 300.

It certainly is a great combination.
Fun fact: Different dynamometers will throw out different spec readings from one another if you test your vehicles on multiple setups. Sensors can also tell the difference between a car driving on the highway with a headwind and being in a stuffy room spinning the dump drum. While you do get accurate readings from them tuned for the right conditions, they will all give out a slightly different reading so technically we don’t know the *true* horsepower of a car.
Though there isn’t a hidden meaning to this, I’m not giving the car a bad name so read in between the lines. This particular video and car is amongst my favorite to watch.
