I started to work on Cars recently and this guys are on top of my list ... 👍🏻 I like when I see dislikes ... they think they know better ...If you don’t like tips and techniques from Polyvance than Change the Channel...
I'm all for having the right tools for the right price of course. Not sure of the cost but I'm sure you can improvise using heat and a diy tool at a fraction of the cost.
I don't care how well ventilated your work area is, that guy should have been wearing a particulate/vapor respirator during the whole process. From heating the plastic to sanding.

I had the same problem, poured hot water and it popped out without any work. (Bumper only)
sometimes you get lucky, but most require more work than that.

The bumper is plastic.

The plastic wasn't heated enough to outgas, so no need for a vapor respirator. As far as sanding goes, a dust mask is always recommended.
