So respect your channel, and have subscribed to hear more re: RA. 2yrs ago I woke up one morning with an onset flare of RA -- intense. From nothing to everything overnight. My life has crumbled with inadequate treatment (due to lockdowns at first). After lengthy prednisone, I''m now on hydroxychoriquine (not working) and looking forward to Methodextrate (in CA we have to undergo a system of treatments......) It was your methodestrate video that caught my eye. Interesting about the fatigue, daily functions suffering dramatically and overall pain - not just in the joints. But from perfect to RA overnight is just too weird, right??

The pain and fatigue are the kicker with RA. Anyone else here fantasise about their relatives experiencing what we do for a short period of time so they can get it? What we feel isn't just tiredness. It's neurologically altering brain fog whereby we are living in some kind of proverbial limbo, between being asleep and awake. I have pain dreams which wake me up, and the dry eyes are currently under control with drops. Wish there were a solution for the fatigue, even when my inflammation markers are lowering, the ongoing fatigue seems to linger.
I have recently been diagnosed with ra can anyone tell me if this can effect your short term memory or cause pain cramps in other parts of the body not related to joints? Thank you.

I don’t know if I have RA or Lyme arthritis. I have been suspicious about both for a while but I just had something that happened that made me really convinced it’s probably RA. I woke up and had such bad pain in my left knee I couldn’t walk and it was extremely sore. Then I noticed a couple of days later both knees were painful and swollen but what really threw me for a loop was my wrist. My wrist was so sore I couldn’t open a medicine bottle or Gatorade bottle. I just noticed an awful bruise on my wrist. I was tested by a rheumatologist a couple of years ago but she said the tests came back negative but she also said unless I was in the middle of a flair she wouldn’t really know. I don’t know what to do or where to turn but this has been so debilitating and awful. I can’t even get to the toilet when I wake up until I get some meds in me and then attempt to.
What can we do to get the fatigue under better control if you’re eating well getting enough sleep etc. are there any drugs that can help I’m currently taking Taltz but is there something to add to that maybe
I’m prescribed Ritalin for a more break thru/short acting medicine mlm(3-4 hrs) when I need it, and a long acting med commonly used for add as well; which both help me SO MUCH- with energy, alertness, and focus, as well… but I can’t remember the name right now; my but my psych prescribed it for energy & alertness while I battle chronic back pain and wait for a diagnosis on the other probs I have. Adderall actually has research to back up that it has a pain relief benefit- so I usually take that instead of the Ritalin, but the adderall is 2x as strong as Ritalin and makes me feel a little “cracked out” when I take it however the other meds don’t make me feel anything more than what a coffee does; but they also don’t have this off label use behind them. There’s other options, this is just what has worked for me and helped me actively do the things I need to in life or feel more motivated. Stay well.

Please don't listen to her.... I hate people doing videos because they only working for the company and there full of lies...... Good thing I did my homework and cure my mother of rheumatoid arthritis..... The doctors were making my mother take prednisone which we all know over a long period of time will cause tumors..... And they were making her inject yourself with a needle every two weeks into her liver number went sky high..... You're sick bastards.....
Food is medicine , I don’t take any drugs for my RA , just changed to a healthy diet , simple 😄

@@IndiraniM-m6x thanks for the reply . Sorry to ask u but is it possible to have Crp 5 or more than that and this joint pain won’t be bcz of RA but it would be due to b12 and D deficiency?

Is nausea a symptom along with body aches and fatigue?
Not necessarily, you need a gastroeneterologist to answer your questions
Thank you for sharing your story with us. It's important to raise awareness about conditions like RA and support one another.
RA came on me suddenly too. I was fatigued over a long period of time prior but the actual condition was triggered when the little girl I was looking after snapped my wrist. Then I got RA all over within a matter of a few weeks.
@@heatherthompson3670 so sorry you have had a similar experience. Since I wrote that I ha e completely altered my medications. I am now using natural remedies... (It's been just a few weeks) no more pharmaceutical treatment. Boswellia Serrata is my new natural remedy and I have high hopes. Feeling allover better. Fingers crossed!

Thank you.
it may! Glad it was helpful! Thank you for watching my videos!
Hello doctor, I have been having muscles pains, no joint pain aside from my knee, RF came back negative, CRP came back with 5.2, the pain areas are my thigh, arms and feet… is this Rheumatoid arthritis symptoms also? Pls respond. Thank you
I don’t have any swelling also

Glad you think so!
I have all the symptoms of RA and my joints have been increasingly painful the past several weeks. I went to my GP and found my ESR levels were high but all other blood tests were normal so she said I didn’t have it... is it possible to have RA with normal blood tests? I'm frustrated because my doctor won't help me figure this out.

I can’t even get to the toilet when I wake up until I get some meds in me and then attempt to.
get evaluated by a rheumatologist!

What can we do to get the fatigue under better control if you’re eating well getting enough sleep etc. are there any drugs that can help I’m currently taking Taltz but is there something to add to that maybe

Drs Berry, Chafee and Baker teach about autoimmune and diet.
Stay well.
Craig, I take Alive vitimans for men over 50+ Ultra Potency and helps with my energy levels.
I'm on my journey to taking care of myself diagnosed with RA. Believe me I am at 62 I'm not going to let this beat me God tells us we are more than conquerors change a diet stretching exercise. Your diet now has to be all natural foods. And I have researched many of people have told me they have been on arthritis medication for years and none of it works. I will not be taking any of. I believe I'm healed taking care of yourself. Your body.

Can rhumethoid arthritis be just in 1 side eg only right hand?

One more question.
If someone had gout for few years, can they then develop rhumethoid arthritis.

Hi Dr Diana. I have a question hopefully you can give me some clarifications. Incidentally during a health screening I found that my RF levels were more than 100. Had no clue on why was it so.. I have zero stiffness or any signs which you have stated in this video. My ESR and CRP levels are within normal range. Does it mean that I will be diagnosed with RA? I am really worried
No!! But you should watch my rheumatoid factor video
@rheumatologistoncall OK Dr Diana I will watch the video. Thank you for your reply.

Hi doctor , I have left thump mcp joint hurts a lot and some days pains goes away , also started noticing pain in right foot especially heel not a super painful but could feel it when I wake up and sometime in my sleep .. fatigue is there since my symptoms started in feb , my gp did some inflammation tests and said it’s not RA or PSA, I have dry eyes and occasionally chest pain goes and comes in noticeable, I started having pimples like things here and there in my head and Gp said it’s bcz of too much stress .. I am not sure if Iam making the simple things complicated or do I really have an issue .. none of the x rays shows on my thump has any inflammation or weird structure.. your advice will be highly appreciated. I wish you are here to see you in person :)… thanks so much
How does tooth infection cause RA? I currently have gum abscess. My face and neck are swollen and neck lymph nodes seem tender. The face swelling is going down after staring oral antibiotics… i am still currently experiencing the other sx mentioned though like bilateral carpal tunnel, bilateral shoulder stiffness, bilateral knee joint stiffness and migratory symptoms. It’s been like this for 3 weeks now every day.

My RF is negative, but my anti-ccp is very high. I was on everything, including TNF meds. MY rheumy left and I got a new one. She told me my joints weren't swollen enough to cause me pain. My pain is very real to me. She said I didn't need any meds, so I haven't been on anything for 2 years. She just wanted to observe me. I have 2 brothers with RA and they have never experienced this kind of care. Is it normal to not treat RA and just observe it? Thank you

I don’t notice any swelling or redness at the joints though. I don’t have any eye irritation or fevers.

The depression is because the brain gets inflamed aswell.
Thank you for sharing your insight! It's interesting to think about the connection between brain inflammation and depression. There's still much to learn about the complexity of mental health.
@@rheumatologistoncall Yes, Ive suffered from depression on and off for 44 years and just had a flare up of arthritis and noticed how I got depressed before I had it and after it calmed down my depression lifted aswell so I believe it's due to inflammation. Vitamin D helped ammensly aswell. :)
