For those having an issue with the RIVA stats and Afterburner stats showing at the same time. When setting up the monitoring in MSI at 5.23 follow the guide regarding selecting the boxes you want and just deselect the tick box "Show in On-Screen Display". This will fix the issue and only allow Riva to show the OSD.

You can access RTSS menu through Afterburner settings as well. In Settings go to tab On-Screen Display. Press More button in the middle of the window. ??? RTSS menu appears/Profit.

Do you know how to increase performance on a laptop after optimizing it? overclocking doesnt really help cause when gaming the clocks just go back down
Tbh theres nothing you can do after you optimize it.. I would just suggest.. limiting ur fps to screen refresh rate so that the laptop doesn't go as hot at it usually does when gaming.. and make sure when you game just keep the power on plug in even if ur battery is on 100%.
What do I do when I uninstall Riva and then laptop just stops working? I can move the mouse, click stuff but nothing, literally nothing opens. Cant even shut down or restart without hard powering off with the laptop power button.
can you monitor system latency on afterburner? i dont wanna use geforce experience just specifically for this stat alone. afterburner give me a latency number from frametime but is it the same thing?
My GUI was an utter cluttered mess, I had like 30 things on the screen. mess and I could not resize it like shown in this video. Every time I dragged the zoom nothing happened.

Thanks - great video again. I have a problem - when I change display in RTSS and load sample.ovl new cool display appears, but the old one remains in the background. I have exactly the same issue lol. With RTSS alone it works fine, but lacks access to some info like CPUs temp and power. With Afterburner it gets those info's into RTSSs overlay, but gets Afterburner's osd underneath it. Is it the same for you? (rn I have no solutions for this, but maybe others with better description of how it works will)

it is super super and I mean really super small. I have a 4k laptop and I have to set magnify setting in the nvidia setup to 250% but some apps like malwarebyte and riva and msiafterburner all come up in native 4k which you need a microscope to read. As I recall there was a file you could associate with an app that would use the gpu magnification setting. Do you know anything about it? As it is it is unreadable.

Hey i have an issue with my PC always freezing up forcing me to power surge it when I play League of Legends. It doesn't happen with any other games and i'm not tech savvy at all. It only happens when i play league and i already checked my HDD's and RAM and they're fine. I have a GTX970 if that helps but idk what causes league to freeze my pc

@@Sankalp-sd6fm If you have 2 GPUs your primary is usually called GPU1. And try to reset or reinstall the msi afterburner. That's all I know basically about this problem.

The thing I wonder is that how you got 700 fps in league. Literally 3900XT (plat sample, manual pbo) & 3080 (amazing sample for real, manual oc) and getting barely 120 fps in League. All "AAA" games workin fine 4K & such, yet League & CS barely draggin. Used to have 600 fps in CS before the new updates that broke everythin. And yes, I am fully stable, amazing benchmark results & game/real benches (rendering), yet some games (League & CS) refuse to work.

Please could someone help? I have somehow enabled a setting where when in motion my anti aliasing works fine (on all games) though when I'm stood still it doesn't work at all and I'm met with the jagged edges until I WASD again... sharp to a blur effect. Its 100% a setting on my pc! as I enabled it when I was forced to use my integrated GPU when waiting on a replacement primary, any ideas?
does anyone knows a fix for warzone low gpu usage on 3080 i play any others games with no problem my only problem is warzone i use to get 180 -200+ fps but now im getting around 80 -120 even in the lowest setting i dont know why (i9900k ,3080)
Try an optimized driver, optimized control panel settings, you could look into a new cpu as well, I had a friend with that one before and it caused a lot of issues

Change your cpu power in the power management
this help me improve my fps
Replace the thermal paste if your laptop is old/prone to having bad thermal paste, it will give you way more headroom for overclocking

Uninstall and the re-install. RTSS is part of the MSI install package.
I found that enabling SMT almost doubled my FPS in Warzone. Should I monitor the logical cores,too or just the 12 physical ones? Thanks.

Sligtly overclock your gpu or limit your cpu usage by using a custom power plan
