Very useful video! I've been waiting and hoping for this video for so long. Directly adapted my MSI Afterburner step by step. It is so pretty now! I will probably use the OSD more often from now on. :] Thx for sharing Kryzzp!
It was a really helpful video, I definitely didn't knew about and . I thought mine looked good but after this video im definitely gonna tweak my MSI afterburner again.
No way. Today i looked at many tutorials that were not showing the full guide and i searched a lot on the internet based on your videos msi osd. Thanks for uploading this video!!
You’re a fuc*ing legend! ❤❤❤ RTX 4070 here. You helped me get the PC I wanted, and I have a 4K monitor coming so I can tweak settings perfectly. 170+ FPS on BF4 on 4K!! You are the GOAT, thank you for making my days :)
You trolled us so hard by saying "Yeah, you can just download the file" right at the end after me literally following every step of your guide for like half an hour 🤣 Great video though as always
A very throughout and detailed tutorial i've ever seen for MSI afterburner. I always have this problem where framerate, average, and 0.1% is displayed from left and right, not from up to down, and thanks to you, i have information that i need.
I wanted to ask you this a long time ago, like a year ago or so, i really needed this Kryzzp, because i like benchmarking games and testing pc parts!! Thank you my favorite youtuber! 😅
Man I always wondered how did you make your MSi Afterburner look so clean, I’ve tried to replicate it for so long but never could, really appreciate the tutorial!
Don't miss plugins button (... button on the top of the list of sensors), gpu.dll will show vram usage by process and dedicated ram for gpu, perfcounter is good too, i'm using it for monitoring ssd speed and load. Also i reccomend to turn on bus usage, it will show pci-e utilazation, high load=low fps due lack of vram and using ram for storing textures If you want something like FPS monitor from msi ab, you have to create your layout at rtss, there is overlayeditor plugin. After couple of hours i've made my perfect monitorin on the middle top of the screen, just 3 lines, values are changing colors when reaching limits, frametime graph and big fps counter
I learned everything of your video just to realize that i got your file at the end of the video xdxdxdxd, but thank you very much for letting us now the process of making it : D
YESSSSSSZS FINALLLYY!!! Sorry iam late to the party because different countries different timezones but i am glad you made this video, i had been waiting for this for a loooong time. Edit: Thanks for the video, it helped me alot in configuring my OSD exactly how I wanted it plus yours video is the best one on this topic so far, now I don't have to read old threads and forums anymore.
You are my hero Kryzzp! I know I'm a month late but I've been struggling badly with my laptop recently, having tons of stuttering and I needed to check how everything was going, I love your settings and I was wondering if there was a tutorial somewhere and here it is! Thank you so much
Finally a simple and step-by-step tutorial! Many others on TH-cam are sometimes unclear but you Kryzzp did one that I can actually understand. TYSM! :D
Duuude, i always tried to copy your Afterburner settings but i never got it right. Thank you so much for making an official tutorial, i've been waiting for this ages ago
PSA: You can also use RTSS on its own without Afterburner. To get all the sensor monitoring, you then use the OverlayEditor plugin (enable it in the RTSS settings.) It's a bit more difficult to arrange the OSD elements, but also more powerful when it comes to custom layouts. Afterburner is then not needed at all anymore.
Best tutorial I've sent straight forward and easy to follow, I ended up with slightly different colours and fonts but I'm on a 4K HDR OLED TV and I sit further away so mines a little different but yeah the instructions are easy to follow along
I know how to do all of this but this is one of the best tutorials on how to do it cos i went crazy when learning all of this and it was quite a learning curve!
Nice, I had to learn it myself a year ago or so. It was confusing at first, but as soon as you begin to understand what is what, it becomes pretty simple. Good "know how" for beginners. Mine looks a bit different of course, but same purpous. I'd show you a screen shot, but I cannot do it here.
Nice tutorial! Btw, if you create the overlay using RTSS overlay editor with afterburner, you can save your overlay as a single file and load it/move it from pc to pc, etc. Even edit the gpu and cpu names and save them as different overlay files! Wayyy better than using afterburner itself for it imo
Just wanted to say that I find it interesting and relatable how you use page up and page down to benchmark:))) I too use page up and page down to start and stop my recordings in OBS, and I feel like it's just so convenient and practical since they don't have any other functions if you're not scrolling(and let's be honest who uses those keys to scroll anyway) Also thank you for this tutorial Kryzp!🤗 I really appreciate your videos and your efforts
Once tried making an OSD similar to yours and I remember sitting for hours and messing it up and wondering how you made it like that. Been waiting for this for a while

@@Prabh07519 he litterally explains it, copy the folder to your after burner folder. Replace all files and restart afterburner

How do you make the 1% and avg fps show? I pressed the button to show them on screen but they are not, only the normal fps do
By far the best MSI Afterburner tutorial on TH-cam. It helped a lot. Thanks comrade.

But if ur using overclock via msi afterburner i would just use it and just have msi afterburners layout

Hi from Toronto Canada, thank you very much for this video. It really helped me customize my afterburner.

Haha this is perfect. I was just showing people how to configure these and sharing my presets. Thanks for the video!
I asked myself exactly the same question a few days ago, why does your overlay look so cool :D
Bro great timing. I wanted to set up my afterbuner ever since i went back to windows 10 lol. Great video. Love from Texas 😊
