    Synonyms for “fun” - pleasurable, enjoyable, diverting, pleasing, delightful, entertaining, convivial. All of which i feel with every block I make. Fun just doesn’t convey it adequately. I adore everything you design Lori. So creative and innovative.

    This quilt is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. It's the first time I have wanted to make something and not change a thing, except I am using the handkerchief fabric for the back. I couldn't leave out my favorite fabric from this collection, it brings all of the colors together so perfectly. I'm pretty nervous working with so many circles and even tried out a snowballed shabby center instead of the circle, but it just wan't as pretty, the circles really make it special. Thank you Lori for sharing your beautiful creation so we can each make one of our own!

    This is the first quilt I’ve ever felt so passionately that I want to make. I’ve never quilted before and am a newbie . It’s breathtaking! I hope here in the Uk I can get all the supplies and fabric. Such a wonderful teacher Thankyou for the joy you bring Lori 🥰

    I bought that backing fabric with the old vintage embroidery patterns. Oh my gosh the memories that came back I remember seeing those patterns as a child growing up being embroidered and pillowcases and tea towels love it.

    Lori, with the handkerchief prints, did you make a tied quilt for our bed....I love that idea. Oh my gosh, I could sit and listen to all your stories about being around while your grandma and granties ( I call great aunts Granties) chatted and pieced and quilted ❤️❤️❤️ they passed on some wonderful ness to you

    • @candyly4

      Edith Monteith it’s a special file that one can use in any number of electronic die-cutting machines. For this specific purpose it would be a file the included all the exact same templates with exact sizes etc as the packaged version only one would buy that file

    I have a question Regarding the circles behind the flowers. What if I just want to put the flowers on a block with no circles. What would you suggest to use for background fabric? Should I go more plain for the background fabric.Would the flower background fabric make everything look too busy? And would the flowers just get lost in it. What would your suggestion be for background fabric for using squares,instead of the circles.

    • @MsBeachLizard
      @MsBeachLizard 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      reta strong fatquartershop.com for this kit. Do a search for the quilt name. The kit is approx $165 USD. I got all the templates, rulers, buttons, etc on Amazon bc it's cheaper than the quilt shops. I am not using the coordinating threads but I am still using an Aurifil 50 wt thread. 👉🏼 Be aware that if you're doing a Lori Holt quilt, you WILL spend money. If you have your own stash fabrics, you can still do this but will still need the rulers and templates and other things she shows in this tutorial. You can find her group for this quilt on Facebook. All the files are listed there.
