Lori, I was looking through Pinterest & noticed another tour of a sewing room. Well, I didn’t realize for a while that this video is of the same person whose new sewing room tour I had looked at about a week ago!!! Your hair is different & you have lost SO much weight in the new video!!! This sewing room is gorgeous, organized, meticulous & just a dream.
I think this may be the fifth or sixth time I’ve watched this. Just love the inspiration. I even had my husband watch part of it 😉😉

Just found this particlar post...thank you for sharing inspiration. I just moved (again) and first time having sewing room in an upstairs bedroom. I learned lots of ideas on how to manage this new space...that will double as a guest room periodically when all kids and their families visit at same time.
I love it! I am currently redoing my sewing room. Moved from a narrow, long sunroom, no upper wall space available, to a nice large bedroom that is no longer occupied. You have given me soon ideas, thank you!

What I love about your sewing room is that it is cozy and not just a work space. I love how you included an area with the couch to share a movie with your family. Love your sewing room. I turned my son's room into a craft room when he got married. I mostly crochet but I have started getting in to making quilted tote bags. My channel is mostly about crochet.
I love your bright sewing room I just moved for the 3rd time this year, and finally have a nice sized bedroom to use as my sewing room. You have given me some great ideas for storage. I am not sure I can have a big cutting area, however I have a big dinning room table that will have to do double duty! Looking forward to a sew along with you come Jan. 2024

I saw that Crosby, Stills, and Nash album under your record player. I saw a show where they said they found an old abandoned house, sat on the porch, and took the picture. The next day they went back to reshoot it, and the house was gone! It had been demolished! I had that same album and loved it.

I also love your net curtains and am trying to locate some like it as my outside space is straight on the pathway and I don’t want old fashioned nets. I watch this video over and over and over as I am organizing my sewing room. I get so many ideas every time I watch this. I drive my husband crazy🤣🤣. I only have a. Dry small space and I need to make the most of it.

Lovely set up! Great idea to use dressers instead of tables, sturdy surface plus drawers for storage! And fun idea to paint the wooden spoons to use as your paint samplers--double duty: paint samplers and colorful decor items for the room!

Lori Holt! You are who I want to be when I grow up. Unfortunately for me, I started 15 years before you, but maybe it's still not too late. I'm retired now and attempting to sew, crochet, knit, craft all day everyday! More is yet to come!!

I've been quilting since the early 90's, cross-stitching for years until my carpel tunnel caused me to quit, but never created a real space for my endless hobbies. You are an inspiration! This is the sewing room of my dreams....
I love everything about your studio. Getting great ideas for my sewing/guest room. If I make that quilt, I will have it on a wall and don’t let anyone touch it like a masterpiece in a museum. Is stunning!!!

I used to help husband work as he was doing siding jobs putting vinyl on houses instead of wood. And I remember putting white foam on the house first before putting siding on. It is like insulation. That was 30 years ago. I saw some at home depot in the insulation department, when I wanted some to put on my windows that I no longer want to use those windows. It block the sun also. Good idea you use to pin your squares on. They have ugly pink foams. You have to look for the white ones. They have thin ones and thick ones. You can cut them with box knife to the size you wanted.

Your sewing room is adorable!! I love vintage too. I wish I still had my record player, as I have oodles of 45's. LOL. I like how you added the couch and tv, to make your room cozy and comfortable. My craft room is a bedroom also, but I need to add those charming touches that make it fun to look at.😁

I can’t stand these videos! LOL. Makes we want to start moving everything around again and painting, and covering everything with pretty prints, and then all my sewing projects just sit and wait...... LOL.
This is where I am at now. I am redoing my sewing room, and all my projects are sidelined. Plus my son just got hurt, had surgery, and was released from the hospital yesterday. He lives alone with his dogs, so we have to go over there, bring food, cut grass, clean, etc. But my sewing room is coming along very slowly and will be worth it. I am quite excited about it!
