someone probably mentioned this before, but the reason it didn't show up in chat is because certain spy achievements (or maybe even just this one :P) don't get shown so new spies don't get called out while disguised for no reason

What happened was bots would say the accomplished achievement 193273826(a bogus a achievement) and send that to the server via hacked client. The server didn’t double check, so it would broadcast that “hacker achieved achievement 193273826” except the game client does check for validity before displaying. So all players learn that the hacker achieved a bogus achievement, except the client intercepts last second so it doesn’t display in chat. Valve patched a check on the server before broadcasting achievements.
I've looked into this before. Unfortunately it's as quickly as joining a match, as there are multiple achievements for joining a match alongside your Steam friends.
Fastest would probably be Pyro's achievement "Light 5 enemies on fire at once". Just dive unto a stacked point/cart and m1. Alternatively, play Engineer and hit someone else's lvl 3 sentry as it kills someone

I don't think that account is f2p, because I remember a while ago buying a key with it (I'm not too sure why), but I also did get the Mercenary Badge when I opened the game, so you might be right.

The reason why didn't the achievement showed up in chat its because Valve designed to hide achievements only if a Spy is disguised or Cloaked. That thing aside, this video was a really cool concept and i would love to see a part 2 of it!
The first TF2 achievement I ever got was I think called “Iron Curtain” or something.. but it was for taking 1000 damage in one life in a community trade server.
there's an achiev for firing two randon crit rockets in a row as soldier, imagine you boot up the game and randomly get that one in like 3 seconds while figuring out the controls lmao
Achievements are so random, for instance, my first achievement was repairing a sentry while a medic heals you in fire or something lime that, which I got by complete accident like 10 minutes after entering my first match ever
Spy works kinda weird when it comes to what works in disuguse or just all the time for some reason (like enemy teleporters). That was incredibly unlucky, but as someone who often uses the amputator, I will keep it in mind...
if saw a video like this about a game i made (have not made games but maybe in future) i would start adding achievements that dont invalidate the run like first kill but random stuff like fire your weapon 17 times in a row without jumping

I think I wasn't, but I didn't even realize that Amputator heals counted towards that achievement. Regardless, I did get a notification saying I got an achievement, so I 100% did.

you can actually avoid running using script bind or simply playing with a joystick, it also look very funny, each class can run infinitly slow or infinitly close to full speed running but not actually running.
Just play on a jump server with cheats enabled and you will never get a single achievement ever again, good to go for a few thousand hours right there.
About that riding a cart for 30 seconds. I somehow still dont have this one and I have like 400 hours and I played Payload a lot. I ride it on top and it didnt work

yeah i finally got it after 1k hours and i think sometimes the achievement's are broken
you need to do that as soldier. if that also doesn't work so idk might be bugged achievement
