    OMG!!! I suffer from artial fibrillation, I’d been in AFib for nearly 8 hours. My anti arrhythmia drugs weren’t working. I was thinking about calling for help, then found this post as I’d heard vagus nerve stimulation can help. I did the ear technique to described and I kid ye not, I resorted to normal sinus rhythm with 3 minutes……unbelievable. Amazing.

    Have had trouble sleeping recently. Did this for a few minutes per ear and i struggled to keep my head up straight and nearly fell fast asleep. Will be doing this every day from now on. 🙏

    As a relaxation specialist and manual therapist, I believe this is crucial information for self-healing. There are several other simple techniques you can do with your ear that will also help down-regulate the nervous system. Due to the tentorium proximity, which the vagus nerve runs through, to temporal bones and the ear, so much can be done for relaxation on this spot of the body. I see it with my clients all the time. Thank you for sharing this info!

      Sometimes just wearing ear plugs; some foam ear plugs helps, and stimulate the vegus nerve to stop coughing.

    Wow the relief and effect of this is so much more immediate than anything else I have tried to calm my nervous system. But - after a few seconds of feeling relieved and amazing, I started bawling and also felt a sharp pain at the tip of my thumb for a minute. I’m guessing the crying is normal as a release as I’ve obviously been holding a lot in. But am I not being gentle enough? I’m scared to try again because I don’t want to damage my nerves further (I already have nerve issues)

    I’m reading your book and I have a question about the parent that molds and shapes the child. There was a negative connotation placed on this concept, so what would be a positive way to “guide” a child’s life w/o the negative effects of “molding and shaping”

    • @ritaevergreen7234
      @ritaevergreen7234 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@LoveByDesign i think this falls under the molding and shaping versus nurturing debate. Nurturing allows the child to basically explore who they are and be who they are while molding and shaping can do harm to a child even if it means well. For example the parents can believe in religion and practice it but the child grows up and decides he wants to explore other faiths or be non religious. This can create conflict from the parents since the parents invested time into molding the child to take a certain way of being that doesn’t align with the child. This leans more on maybe something less extreme like forcing a child to be in a sport they don’t enjoy to make a parent happy. This kinda goes deeper with values being instilled that can be debated on being in the category of shaping/molding vs nurturing.
