A nerd is a person seen as overly intellectual, obsessive, introverted or lacking social skills. Such a person may spend inordinate amounts of time on unpopular, little known, or non-mainstream activities, which are generally either highly technical, abstract, or relating to topics of science fiction or fantasy, to the exclusion of more mainstream activities.[1][2][3] Additionally, many so-called nerds are described as being shy, quirky, pedantic, and unattractive.[4]
You exhibit physical prowess; however, that does not negate many of the aspects or defining characteristics of a nerd as identified above.
I fought the stigma of a nerd as well through military service, running marathons, riding mountain bikes, motorcycles, and anything to separate me from what I considered a “nerd”. However, I’ve come to accept that my mental predisposition is towards “nerd” categories. The latest technologies (cars, motorcycles, manufacturing, etc.); detailing, which most people do not do; tools and their specifications, leveraging computers to make life more efficient; and an obsession to learn as much as possible about the above listed categories.
    Welcome to Nerdville! Embrace it!

Koch is pretty much the same as cock........ but chemie is pronounced in this video: th-cam.com/video/jo6eVzUH2cI/w-d-xo.html at around 2 minutes in. Also at 5 minutes Koch is pronounced
