*cough* Look up DCeased Plastic Man *cough*
@Egg65992 It's honestly stuff like this that wants me see Plastic Man in future Justice League installments.
One day Batman just brings him along as an ace card against some big threat and no one takes him serious and wonders why batman brought this goof along.
Just for Plastic Man to show off later just how ridiculous powerful he can be.
Like just a no stop gaps version of Plastic Man in full force against a threat. Growing to gigantic size, splitting up, growing countless appendages transforming in all sorts of shit, some parts getting half melted or blasted apart just to casually rearrange themselves as if it was nothing.
Just him turning into a sight where even the JL members are being completely shocked and going "we are so lucky he is on our side"-mode. While Batman is ofc like "told you".
Also I think Plastic Man has the potential be a genuinely great mentor for younger members of the league. He has a past in crime and running away from responsibility and yet somehow became a hero, a dedicated husband and loving father because Batman took a chance on him.
Also he isnt exactly dumb either and I was always under the impression his goofyness is a facade of his so people can actually be relaxed around him. Like you can make him a genuinely super compelling supporting character.

3:12 It's funny because he actually do that.
He's also immortal and almost completely unkillable, surviving having the entirety of his body's molecules scattered for centuries. He has absolute control over every molecule in his body. That punch Supes was gonna throw might as well have been a light tickle for all the damage it would have done. He's immune to telepathy, nearly invulnerable to magic, and only a very few things can even slow him down. Diana was the smart one of the group there warning everyone.
Yeah he’s survived being torn to peices, frozen completely, and even melted and he still reforms his shapeshifting is better than a martians and his durability is literally impervious to any damage that isn’t enhanced with chemical or energy attacks. Super hax on a simple ability
Exactly. Batman considers him a greater, potential, threat than Superman. Batman's contingency plan is to deep freeze him to the point his body shatters and then store each piece in a separate container far apart from each other. Because the pieces can still reform. And he isn't even sure that will be enough to more than slow him down. Batman concludes that he is just thankful that Plasticman is a, genuinely, good person and on their side. And Batman doesn't call many people, genuinely good.
@@samuelvincent557I see what you mean but he definitely isn't a greater threat than superman especially if he removes thr limiters and goes all out
@@assainscreed1234 Mind you, this isn't my assessment, this is Batman's. I believe this is because while Superman is capable of greater feats of destruction, he also has more weaknesses that can be exploited. He is highly susceptible to magic. Totally vulnerable to Kryptonite. And has been proven to be effected by mind control. So there are definite plans that can weaken or kill Superman.
The problem with Plastic Man is that, nothing they know of can stop him permanently. They can slow him down, incapacitate him or capture him, but they can't permanently kill him. AND they do not know the limits of his powers. And for Batman, that is the greatest threat to him. An unknown variable. For example, Plastic Man is capable of increasing his strength by increasing his mass. Is there an upper limit to that? Could he keep increasing it until he is the size of a planet or larger?

So once.
Here's the thing. Plastic man, at literally ANY time could kill superman, with supes having very little he could do to actually stop it. Since he can't just alter his shape, but also his composition and state. He's basically the improved metamorpho. Which means he can become a mix of nth metal and kryptonite, while still being stretching and shape changing. He's one of the hero's that gets rediculously dangerous in theory, but fortunately is too good to go in that direction. The others in this group are captain atom (who is basically the same as dr manhattan if he tried, since he can re-write the atomic structure of anything and reshape it as he wishes), and firestorm, who can do the same. There are plenty of heroes like that in the DC universe that are super scary, and know it, but don't go to that extreme.
Lol, no.

you know its serious when batman the person notorious for making contingency plans for his team mates only have ones that can only be temporary as plastic man's abilities actually makes him unable to be killed only stopped for a short time because freezing and shattering, or melting him are some of his more apparent weaknesses but they never do any sort of permanent damage as plastic man would reform completely fine while also being functionally immortal. EDIT: The song is called The Hollow by Ian Post :D
Whats the name of that Song?
You know the Name of the Song?
@@serlelsano1153 The Hollow by Ian Post
@@alexb9326 Sorry for late reply, The Hollow by Ian Post
this honestly seems like there was some amount of work put into it. the moving parts, having to cut out the parts of the whales in that one panel and make them move looks awsome, not to mention the glorious music fit for the scene.
I love the fact that the biggest goofballs and pure hearted people always are insaly powerfully
"What do you want plastic man?" - Wonderwoman sure did show her pre-op voice for a moment.
Plastic man is the protagonist we never knew we wanted but the one we need.
8:39 - they weren't villains, they were heroes who stood against the Injustice JL. The JLA are the villains here.
Bane is still a villain same with cannibalistic Killer Croc
Villains are Villains but they can also do a heroic thing if they choose to.
I’ve heard a lot about plastic second hand from other stories. Now actually getting a genuine look at him in comic, with great presentation done here. Gotta say, quickly becoming a personal favorite.
omg the voice acting for plastic man is exceptional
Your videos and channel need to be on TV, cuz you truly make these comics come to life. Thank you. Keep up the good work!
This is what not only showed me who Plastic Man was, but also made him one of my fav superhero characters.
This is good shit. I enjoyed that video. When plastic man is diving under water it felt like a James Bond Intro with the credits playing.
if they just made videos of comic books like this, I would finally get into them. this was amazing.
Ill never grow tired of this story, and Injustice was one of the first time I actually saw Plastic Man in action, that was an insightful event. ^^
"I prefered when he wore a smile"
Made my heart break
I love how he wasnt afraid of superman he said what he had to say and did what he needed to do.
plas still showing he's the best hero because he was once a villain.
I'm desperate for a plastic man movie with Jim Carrey as plastic man, he's the perfect guy for the roll.
I love that theme song that played when plastic man meets Superman at 2:25
anyone know this song?
@@c2ub There is a name in the description but when i look for i dont get the right song
This is pure genious! The lines from the comic writers and the voice acting for Plastic Man.... "I'm powerful as fuck, but I'm still clowning around". Love it!
Plastic Man, "Can't... hold... on... much... LONGER!"
Luke, "Yah done?"
PM, "Yeah I guess, let's blow this popsicle stand."
Plastic man is really like the Majin Buu in DC except he's not a menace to the universe lol. Seeing how powerful and comedic he is I'm surprised he's not shown more often. But seeing the alternate evil version of him.. He's indeed a major threat and is extremely brutal when it comes to killing.
I'm more of a Marvel guy, but Plastic Man is now officially my favorite DC super hero.
He's basically the closest thing to DC's Deadpool in terms of personality
@@pranavramsaha5042 The Merc with the Mouth, meet the Rubber with a Number. (That's the best I could come up with.)
I could instantly hear Yuri Lowenthal when Plastic man's son spoke and it'd be hard for me to be convinced otherwise
How did the Flash not react faster than Plastic Man can attack him..........??
i was also thinking about this but its most likely cuz flash just wasnt expecting to be jumped. he won't live his normal life in slow motion of course so he just wasnt thinking fast when this happened because of how much he trusts plastic man
Plas has reflexes on par with J'onn Jones, who in many ways is Superman's equal. The speed he can move the atoms in his body is ludicrous, and its hell of a lot easier to get the jump on Barry then a diligent Wally. (although both can be given a surprise attack)
Plot armor for the story
Because writers always downplay speedsters.
Perhaps, Barry felt it would provide some level of plausible deniability.
I love the fact he took that guards clothes even though he could literally shapeshift them on
I was looking for this comment. He literally did that with Sinestro and Flash, yet didn't do it with the guard.
You know you’re a threat when Batman’s contingency plan for you is thanking god for not making you evil
"You prefer he wore the underwear??"
"...I prefer when he wore a smile"
That was oddly sad coming from an overly comic-relief character.
