The Plus models are a success in my opinion despite receiving much hate from some TH-camr like „Apple will stop producing the Plus like the Mini before“ …yeah but here we are…year 3 with a Plus model! I love my 15 Plus in blue…a great supporting backup device when I‘m traveling, very reliable and well designed with a strong battery! The 16 Plus in teal and ultramarine looks tempting as well!
@@cameronbosch1213 That’s debateable. Of course are the Plus models expensive. But you aren‘t forced to buy them. You can buy a chinese phone for 200 $ with 120 Hz. But do you get the other beloved features with it like 5-7 years of software upgrades, iOS, reliability, great design what doesn’t look cheap, etc.? It’s a whole package! I bought my Plus with a discount and not on day 1 so I didn’t have the problem of paying the whole price!
The problem is that it’s not cheap enough for losing critical features that most phones at $900 have, like high refresh rate screens and smaller bezels. So you’re better off getting the iPhone 16 pro max with a bigger and longer battery life with the 33% higher sustainable performance and medal encasing battery to help keep the iPhone 16 pro max way more cool that every iPhone made before it and not overheat and keep it’s 33% higher sustainable performance longer and stop battery health in the iPhone 16 pro max from degrading so fast over time! It’s a no brainer choice!

It is necessary to make the 16 (Plus) worse otherwise it would canibalize the more profitable Pros. For the same reason they keep iPadOS less useful than MacOS…otherwise MacBooks were pointless.
I thought about the 16 Plus but 3 things made me go with the 16 Pro; 1. I'm tired of large phones. I traded in a 14 Pro Max. Great phone, just too big and heavy. 2. I like having a decent zoom and the 5X is a step up. 3. I REALLY like 120hz. If Apple had gone to 90 on the 16's I might have gotten one instead of the Pro. i have a 15pro max and i will not up or "down" grade this year, but honestly speaking if I would be up for a new phone it would be a 16 Plus.... sure no 120Hz but after 3 Days you'll be fine, the only thing I really would miss is the 5x Zoom... other than that I LOVE how this phone looks - i love the frosted glass- which looks sooo "flat" and Teal is the color to get

I was worried about battery life on Apple Watch 10 46mm but honestly it lasts me a day and half with always on display and using it while naps on and other apps and sleep so I don’t charge it till next day and half and even then I still have 30 to 40% However the iPhone battery isn’t all that even though I watched videos and turned off many settings that waste battery still not the best at most I can use it for a day and I don’t listen to music much just android auto in my car for few hours driving to work and shopping Apple is so so behind when comes to the battery honestly I paid 1600$ with tax Canadian and still have a garbage battery ? Apple is just getting greedier they wouldn’t trade in my iPhone 11 Pro Max even though I spent 2200 because the 11 pro max has a glitch isn’t updating before they didn’t care they would trade anything Now they wanna suck every penny out of you why would you care if the phone has software issue ? Apple use them for recycling anyways it’s not like they sell those phones I just see Apple treating customers like sht now they don’t give out even a wall charger with the phone which is so ridiculous They just got so so greedy and don’t have any respect for their customers anymore And the camera button I used it twice in 2 weeks I find it completely useless and just wasting 10 mins when I can just touch the screen in a second that buttons is just useless and you will see next year or 2 they will remove it because it wastes so much time to just take a pic when I do it 100 times faster when I use the screen

The regular models are the most attractive ones this year, if I wasn't using LOG footage, I'd go with the regular 16.
60 hz screen for $800 though. I could get a 120 hz OLED for under $500.
