  • This episode is all about our time in the Central Kalahari Game Reserve in Botswana. This is a remote park in Botswana with no fuel stations, no shops, and unfenced campsites. We saw elephants, differnet antelopes, cheetahs, and more - and we even had lions walk through our campsite just after we had climbed into the rooftop tent.

We've travelled through Botswana two separate Julys which is their winter. The nights can get quite chilly and the days are usually pretty pleasant.

We've been two Botswana twice - both time in July which is their winter. The nights are can get quite chilly and the days are usually very pleasant. It can get warm, but we're usually driving to a new location or relaxing during the mid-day while the animals are asleep :)

How do you find your way around without internet

We mostly use paper maps when we're in Botswana. Even in pretty remote places of the national parks different routes are marked pretty well, but we also download offline maps for our GPS on our phone as a back up.
