- 5 week update on our 6 month trip
we went from Willow Tree to Tiboorburra, enjoying hot artisian baths along the way, enjoyed the wildlife, had a bit of a detour due to closed roads and ended up in Tiboorbura to start our gold detecting experience.

Thanks for the video and info on the area. We are leaving Perth on June 1 heading to Queensland. We will be doing Broken Hill to Lightning Ridge around June 9th.
Have fun!
Great work you two!! Good luck with the prospecting, stay safe happy travels.
Thanks Greg, we are missing home, but also excited about the adventure ahead
It will be a fantastic experience. Looking forward again😂
It was!
Great; hopefully detecting experiences comes easily so you can use it in other places you visit. The hot springs looks good; much more structured than when I was a kid, which was not much more than a hole in the ground at Lightning Ridge. If you can move road kill off the road, even if you didn't kill it, it would be really helpful to the wildlife who will eat it. Heaps of birds, lizards, etc are hit by cars because they are eating road kill (on the road) and can't get away fast enough when a car comes along. Bertie would love some too ! The tail of a roo is good, especially if you have an outdoor clamp on the van, that you can clamp it in; he'll love it.
nah, we decided it wasn't for us and moved on, onto bigger and better things :)
Go for GOOOOOLD!!!!
We did, we failed, we will rise again
british hard petroleum BHP not Australian
The bhp (bhp billiton) that I referred to are Australian. www.bhp.com/about/our-history

So would we have, until we had it in our hands. It wasn't found there though. I think it was found in Victoria somewhere
