I put 640 g of water in the bowl at 40 degrees and the add the yeast and activate it for 10 minutes. Use the keep warm function initially to set the temperature.
Hi Chris - as a Kentish Brit living in Vancouver and a home baked bread maker but a complete novice with the TM6, I would love to make your bread but I can follow you on TH-cam generally however you say “put it on a setting” - what setting - that is the part that I don’t understand. It comes before warming the yeast, water and sugar. I’ve played your video over and over but just don’t get that instruction - remember I’m a newbie!!!!!
Hello This is a great way to make this recipe. your bread looks lovely 🍞I which I can do it, but I can’t without the specifications of the TM6 Thank you 😊
6:31 I add water to a tray beneath meat roasts too. Helps them to cook so they're very tender. It would be lovely to have a real steam oven.
Brilliant methodology, excellent recipe, wonderful passion for your craft. 100% Chris.
Even I managed to get it spot on. Thank you so much.
Thanks, much appreciated comment.
Nicely done Chris. Y our ingredients list is missing sugar and it would be helpful to list the Thermomix setting under the recipe.
Another brilliant video! Thanks so much. 😊
Thnx Chris

Can you tell me how much the Machine Is Thx
It now costs about £1200, let me know if you’re interested & I will put you in touch with an advisor. You can’t buy these in the shops.
Thanks Chris. Great recipe. Any tips on how to keep it so it stays fresh with a little crisp in the crust?
Spray the top of the bread halfway through baking

Thanks, I built it.
Do you pre-heat the oven or you start the heating with the bread and hot water ?
Sorry for the late reply I’ve been in surgery.
I pre- heat the oven before baking to 200

Get the water to 40 and just let it sit for 10 minutes, no setting is needed.
500g for one loaf?
Of flour?
Yes
If you click more…. on the description the recipe is for two loaves, divide all the amounts for two loaves.
Wish you would slice the bread so we can see inside
Recipe pls
The recipe is in the vlog, just click under the title where it says more….,
Is that a cigarette ashtray at 6.09, perhaps it would be best to edit it out!
First of all no one in the house smokes, it’s a plastic saucer for excess dough !
Secondly if you wanted to puff on 20 while making your loaf- your house your rules!
Where are the amounts of the ingredients?
If you click on more on the description you will find them
The background music is too loud.
I think it is much better to make bread without the Thermomix.
