Payne is younger and they just gave him $$$ so, he's staying imo. They drafted Newton Rd 2 this year. Old GM drafted Mathis Rd 2 last year. Jonathan Allen doesn't have much guaranteed $$$ and is getting older, would love to see him next to Sweat at 3tech and not stuck as a NT. Guy is Elite. If your looking for the Poles trades a 2nd and extends a guy deal, All Pro DT Allen might be it. Leaving 2 2nd Rd picks the last 2 years to fight for DT2. Remember new GMs and Coaches don't value players alot of times old GMs took. Which brings me to Mathis. Didn't play much in 8 games last year behind 2 Pro Bowlers. He got hurt. Not sure how much this new team is gonna value him. He could be a Starter, could be moved for a 6th Rd pick. Allen and Mathis i think 🤔 are worth watching. That's alot invested at DT and this Regime just took Newton. Plug and Play.
I generally ignore stuff from heavy. Yardbarker and clutchpoints too. Literally every headline is pure clickbait The always have stuff like "massive trade proposal blah blah" something ridiculous, and then it's just some analyst's offhand quote. Or like "bears connected to former $120 million player" and it's some 34 year old backup we probably didn't even talk to I've never seen anything new or useful or insightful from any of those sites

It would have been a better idea if Poles had signed both of the WRs from Idaho, one you already know (Hatten), the other Jermaine Jackson had almost 1,700 yds. receiving over the last 2 years and almost 700yds in punt returns.
T. J. Houshmandzadeh was just on the Score and said he wouldn’t be surprised if John Jackson made the team…he is surprisingly talented. TJ literally gets paid to coach some of the best receivers in the NFL in the offseason. I don’t know what to make of this??
