Not being a smart ass or anything but you should really worry about that turbo completely coming to a dead stop when you shut the motor off. Shouldnt be doing that at all.
yeah I've pulled it apart a dozen or so times playing mad scientist and this particular time the housing seal was messed up, so she wasnt sitting on right, its still fine now but I like testing worst case scenario on my own stuff lol

yes journal bearing turbo, they work fine without water lines so I'd rather have less places to leak
