I miss this show so so much!!! I've met a few of the actors since then and some said they miss it, and they hope it comes back soon because Cats is forever, I didn't go to stage door after I saw Cats.. 1 1/2 yr ago but I've been lucky to meet the actors at different shows. So far I've met Shaun Rennie, Monique Chanel, Andrew Dunne (he was so nice!!), Renee Burleigh, Erin James, Stephanie Silcock, Mischana D-Cornish, but I still really want to meet John, Adrian R, Brian G, Brent O, Caleb etc
@MrMisofelees01 Just saw Cats in Gaoxiong (Spelt - Kaohsiung - locally) We were pretty impressed with the show. Real highlight was that some of the cast came out during the interval and posed for photos with the audience (do they do this in Oz?). After the show we bumped into Sharyn Winney - Resident Derector/choreographer, and Markham Gannon - Assistant Resident Director (for Taiwan) and they were kind enough to get our program autographed by the cast. Awesome!
@MrMisofelees01 Yeah it was a real treat! We found the back entrance and when we bumped into someone from the cast/crew we asked if they could help us get autographs. They were like; "well they're all really tired right now" - so, we were like; "Of course, we don't expect them to come out or anything, but we would be rapt if we could just get a few autographs" So, they asked if we could wait, and we said of course, we actually went back the next day to pick up the programmes
@MrMisofelees01 In Taiwan Sophie Shanks was cast as Sillabub/Jemima. She sang her first part of Moonlight in Mandarin Chinese. Audience loved it. I thought it was beautiful touch.
Cats in Manila is now about to end. Do you know where they are touring next? Btw, the character Jemima sang the moonlight verse in Tagalog-native dialect. It left me with goosebumps and misty eyes, the whole audience applauded loudly!
@mmcaliwanagan yeah i noticed that late. also, mr. mistoffelees (go and check as he may have another name as well!) didn't sing any song, not even uttered a word which i found VERY COOL!!!i he's my favorite cat!.
@MrMisofelees01 I think being an Aussie in a foreign speaking country really helped. Also we were not pushy, but very understanding that they were probably tired, busy, and mayb sick of fans. Also, if you treat the crew like you would treat the cast they will be more willing to help. "Wow! you're the guy who shines the light (or pulls the curtain) the show wouldn't run without you guys. Could you sign my program right here on the "Crew page". How could they refuse to help?

It's amazing that some of them still performed for the revival of Cats in the year 2015-2016!
