Great video, thank you! When puting everything back together, I ended up snapping 3 bolts/screws that hold the cover on. Do you know of a website to order new ones? I'd like to change all 19 of them out (15 around the outside and 4 next to the spark plugs). Either way, thank you again!
@@jasonleapai4347 for those I would go direct to the dealer. Try a google search for OEM Chrysler parts and you can usually find a dealer parts page that will help you find them. It’s a bit of research but that’s how I’d do it.
Do you need to do AC recover, evacuate and recharge after replacing valve cover gasket on 2015 Chrysler 200C? My mechanic said I needed to, but I speculate if AC recharge is necessary or correlated to this kind of gasket repair…? I have some smoke and burn smell coming from back left engine. Mechanic said they saw oil dripping onto exhaust. I don’t see any oil in my driveway nor looking at front and sides of valve cover. Thanks!
Not this gasket. Coolant missing, but not leaking on the ground, can be a head gasket. That’s a lot more involved than this. I Recommend a professional diagnosis for this.
I THINK the VVT is controlled by multiple solenoids on the intake side? Here’s my video tearing down this engine. I don’t remember a VVT solenoid other than the whole system on top of the head that you can see in my video here: 2015 FCA 2.4L Multiair / Tigershark Engine Teardown th-cam.com/video/qwfd0WfhMRA/w-d-xo.html

Nothing is done with the AC for this. They might be looking at another leak at the same time?
thanks this video helped me alot good teacher
I'm getting a misfire and the plugs were oil soaked. I hope this fixes the problem
did it?
Did the misfire go away?
What was the reason for this to be done. What was the diagnostic that came to this conclusion. (Gasket replacement)
Leaking oil around the spark plug seals was the original symptom.
@@JoesCarSmartsNY Beautiful. Video, tell me you bought it all together with the set valbulas? Or be separate
@@adalberopaz7071 I think it was a gasket set that included all parts.
Where can I find the gasket kit for this project?
Here ya go: amzn.to/3xPLbtD
Thanks so much! Thanks for the diagram. I messed up and didn't make one.
My car has started not holding coolant and it’s not leaking out could the gasket be the responsible for that?

What would make transmission fluid leak out this same car?? I need help
Lots of possibilities. A pro mechanic should find the source for you.
Can you tell me if the vvt solenoid is located under the valve cover need to replace mine & can’t find it or anything online of its location pls & thx
