The tank has really brought it together. Initially, how did you decide on doing the brushed steel?
@@mattshannon4231 I wanted to build an "R" inspired model and on the R model's ducati does some sort of brushed steel on the tank so thats what gave me the idea initially

Wow dude, it turned out better than I imagined! I was a bit skeptical of Bill leaving the sander marks on purpose, instead of a true sanded/brushed finish, but it does look pretty awesome! Seems like the sander streaks catch the light and reflect it in a unique way, nice choice! 😎👌🏼
haha Bill and Trevor were skeptical as well...I was actually the one who told them to do it that way and I'm glad it paid off haha

yeah this is one of my favorite builds for sure...we'll find out the weight savings soon too!
It actually looks better than I thought it would. Really cool. I'm in the middle of painting my bike, just put the primer on...after seeing this I almost wish I would have just brushed it and threw some clear on. Would have been a hell of a lot easier and it looks badass!

Love the bike and everything done to it, really can't fault it at all. I know Jaret has done a lot of work in the background sourcing parts, and finding master craftsmen and technicians to work on this bike so cudos for that, but "Dado was a bloody Genius" and fitted in with the series so much better than a main dealer doing all the work. It always felt like a couple of good friends just working together in their garage creating a work of art. Dado needs to move to Cali, or Jaret needs to move back :)

I'm not sure why, but that tank makes the bike look so much better! Incredible, looks great, awesome job man! I really wish the bars would have worked out, the stock bars don't fit with the bike anymore, oh well.

Tank looks incredible...such a shame bout the drag bars! Didn’t think the carbon would work on this bike...& up until the tank install I don’t think it did...but the tank has tied it all together & the end result is amazing 👏
