Hey Jaret just a thought but did you think about putting a translucent black tint over the tank and then putting clear over the top of that. IMO the tank doesn't gel with the rest of the awesome work you have put into the Monster.
@@VRV68U we want the tank to be the standout piece along with the headlight...once we are done it will make more sense :)

Looking good. I am preparing to paint some motorcycle and car parts for the first time but I will be building a make shift painting booth using one of those small outside wedding tents that is completely enclosed. But any imperfections can be dealt with by letting the clear coat dry for 4-5 days then either sanding down and spraying another clear coat or buffing it if it is not so bad. But it looks amazing. Great job guys.
yes you are right but we need to keep this build rolling so we didn't want to have to re-sand it down and put another clear coat on to wait for that process. Good luck with your projects!

Jaret, you come across on video as cool as anyone.....if you don't have something on the build series on your bikes, why not do a video with Christina , your mom and boyfriend, or your dad going out to eat at different restaurants, or whiskey, bourbon tasting?? I would watch it, and I'm sure thousands of your fans would watch as well......just a thought Jaret. I love watching you..... whatever you are doing, just thought other people would as well!!

Good job Dado! Nothing wrong with a little open air garage paint job haha, I’ve done a few myself. Funny enough they usually come out the cleanest since you put all that extra effort in cleaning up before spraying you know lol.

I was thinking the same thing. Could be a tad bit bigger but still looks sweet
yeah it probably would have looked great if we made it a little bigger BUT we used the stock logo measurements for the size so that was the safest bet

Ducati bike is awesome, I have seen one of those here in balayan Batangas, but owning a Ducati bike is very different here, the only person who can afford it was the one bless with wealth. I am just seeing the Ducati bike 2 or 3 times a week in public road or highway. Im amazed of how the team of jaret put all together the parts, make the bike lighter and bring up different looks of the bike. Campisi custom team are amazing. A quick in between question. You have build a Tuono and Streetfighter. If you had to choose one of those(stock to start with in the beginning). Which one would you pick for 90%street+10%track?

Surly you can afford to hook dado up with a wee booth jaret,would love to see more paintwork videos like this as a painter myself so would be well worth it
Love your work guys, one thing I can't help think (as a sticker/graphics maker) that it would have been better to just get the Ducati logo cut in black vinyl then 2k clear over it. Would keep it super sharp and there would be no worries in prep-cleaning the tank before clear coating.

unfortunately no...we'd have to disassemble the entire front suspension and have them anodized which could compromise the Ohlins suspension so its just not worth it
