6th Gen is definitely pretty awesome. TH-cam is new to us 😃. The content & the video quality is better than where we've started at, though still needs much improvement. We're able to do more content thanks to the audience & their valuable feedback (your comment is appreciated thanks). Will process the video for louder audio in the future.

Each might have their own opinion. Personally the 6th Gen trackpad, in combination with the keypad feels better subjectively / could be because that one's more familiar with it (we're talking about marginal difference).
6th Gen X1 Carbon was pretty superlative in the keypad department. Probably unpopular opinion, soon as I get on a desk (regardless of the laptop), dock it onto an external keypad. 👍 ThinkPad key does get close.

6th Gen with i7 8650, QHD, 16gb ram, 512gb SSD for $800. There are good deals, the lowest 7th Gen I could find same specs was around 1600.

They destroyed the keyboard after the 6th gen, 6th gen had far superior key travel for typing.
