The only one I see here as being really effective is the 850cc 3 cylinder installed in the Honda framed motor cycle. It looks the part, and certainly sounds the part, and appears to have performance to match. All the others are kinda like one off creations that don't really cut the mustard, imo!
M H would Stück and not be sporty no high RPM you need a turbo and you have to much torque and too low RPM motorbikes need no Diesel they don't consume that much Petrol. My 600cc took never more than 6,5l/100km even if i always hitted rev limited and made rocketstarts
Why Hardley Davidsons are not diesel I do not understand. Utterly useless engines that cannot rev, in frames that cannot handle, or brake ... diesel fuel would make so much sense. They are already the truck of motorcycles
PSk I had a custom chopper I built with a 98 cube stroked and punched Shovel and that thing would pull some awesome RPM’s. I also worked over a ‘91 Sporstet 883 and with the right ignition box it cranked some high rpms too. I drive a new Kawasaki Z900 now.
The Lifan bike sounded like it was missin ’ like a blind trapshooter!. Bonus for the sketchy t handled pull cable and the car battery on the saddle bag support 😂👍🏻

Funny. I actually built a Geo Metro Convertible with a Kubota 905 diesel in it driving the original 5 speed transaxle. It got 70 mpg on a road circuit that included gentle hills, speeds between 30 to 50mph.

These are neat, but wouldn't want to be on one if it went into a "run away" situation. You would be one rusty clutch cable snap away from certain death.

What happened to the NATO "single fuel" project? This should have given us a diesel motorcycle - because it certainly wasn't going to give us a tank running on anything else ;-)

A Kubota D850 is good for 200 MPG in a car. A D 722 on two wheels should get 400 plus.
