If not, then don't worry about it. One's mental health is every bit as important as the physical. I myself took a year off of any hobby work and am now only slowly going back to the glue and paint. It's a hobby, not a lifestyle.
very true! I do have to prioritize a bit. And yeah complexity is definitely a problem and the lack of popular source material definitely doesn't help there either.

probably going to leave that for later cause I don't even know if I'll ever get to play with them. It's more a passion project. But I don't hate Pike&Shotte for it and I'm told Furioso is decent although I haven't looked into it.
Sounds like you have had a lot going on. I know how you feel about burn out following a commission, but I have no doubt you will get back to it. Very interesting what you say about wargaming being Britcentric, I hadn't really thought of that. One of the issues I think is that what, 75% of the manufactures are Brits too, so it can be hard to find models for other periods/battles/wars (e.g. I would love to do Romance of the 3 Kingdoms era Chinese). Just going to put my "button counter" hat on for a moment... not all battles for Napoleonic's have carbon copy soldiers. See my "German Division" force from Talavera. (Sorry!). The Italian Wars project sounds fun, and lots of research for it too! When you move I'm happy to "babysit" your Warmaster, and promise I wont steal it.... wink wink lol
True there is quite some troop variety in Napoleonics but then even just one full brigade of regular infantry would probably frustrate me at 28mm ^^; Regarding the warmaster, watch my next video :P

yeah! Although the Perry's have the luxury of making weird stuff they fancy like the recent south american range.
