  • The end of a journey that started in London and all other parts of the UK.
With over 40,000 bikes taking part the main car park filled up quickly, the first bikes arriving at 4.00pm and the last one arrived at 6.30pm.
Thank you to everyone that made the journey and made Dave Day a memorable event for everyone attending.
Thank you to the Hotel Imperial that gave me access to film this from their roof.

I watched this, stood on Abbey Road Barrow in Furness to watch 1000s of bikers pay tribute and raise lots of money for cancer. The bikers were tooting horns revving engines shaking hands, thumbs up with thousands of bystanders, , some even did wheelies, godbless them all. They got a fabulous greeting coming into Barrow in Furness, it has got to be 1 of the most moving things i have seen RIP Dave they did you proud

My mum, who died some years ago, was a little bit in love with Dave Myers. She would have been so moved by this show of love. If there is such a thing as the afterlife, I hope my mum isn't making a nuisance of herself, following Dave about like a puppy!

Honestly one of the best things I’ve ever seen, couldn’t believe how many people were watching from bridges. Well done to everyone that was involved

Dave deserves over a million views for the joy he bought to the biking community and the rest of Great Britain.
He will be greatly missed. Positive thoughts go to his wife and family and of course to Si King who has lost his best mucker. Life will go on, but memories will remain forever 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The organization behind the Day is something of a triumph! (I just hope that there are lots of public loos in Barrow, and a few sandwich shops!)

Agreed. I'm no longer a biker - I've owned 6 - but I do love and appreciate good food......now retired, I've watched Dave and Si cooking some amazing stuff during their travels on TV.... They had their own unmistakable banter and magic...... Let's hope that in time, Si feels he may be up to carrying on.....

How absolutely amazing! Although, being a gentleman of a certain age, I would have been rather anxious about the availability of toilet facilities!

Amazing to witness all the bikes riding into town. Also, this was only one of various car parks that was used on the day👍👏

With many having pillions, you all just about doubled the population of Barrow for a day.

I wonder what the record is for tribute rides? This has got to be up there, surely?

Hi Scott, I'm making a film about this event for BBC News and was wondering if it would be possible to use a bit of this brilliant footage with credit to you?

Why did you not stand in the bike park in Barrow and say that ?

And if it was a modified car meet in remembrance of Paul Walker, the police would be all over it like a rash...... It's a disgrace that a gathering like this, along with the disruption on the roads, was allowed to take place

As someone who was driving up to Stranraer at the same time and saw it, I can say it didn’t cause any disruption whatsoever

Quite wonderful and a beauty to behold. Thousands of kind, like-minded bikers and families just showing love and respect. Oh, if the whole world was like this, it would truly be heaven on earth.
