- Just an incredible turn out of bikes for this event which has now been confirmed by police as having 46,136 bikes attend, and the public turned out in their masses too in a show of support for this amazing event. Thanks to all those who worked so hard to make it happen and to David Rockliffe for the fab cover photo of Si on the bike.

One of the most incredible things I've ever had the pleasure to witness.
I was driving my Tesco van and got caught in the convoy coming into Barrow. Not a problem tho..... The atmosphere was phenomenal 🎉
It choked me so much, to see the biker community come together to honour one of own. 🥲🥲
You did yourselves proud and Barrow will welcome you again with open arms.

Thanks, no rush. We'd been into Inglewhite for a trail race and I suggested going over to Bilsborrow bridge to see what we could see. No idea it would be so massive and so spectacular!

It was a amazing day i went on ny bike too and yes the weather was out of this world for the day👍😁😁and the turnout was eye opening.. emotiinal.and the support from the people all the way on the route the bridges ect was amazing thanku every1 for everything and the support you all put in.. amazing weekend👏👏👍👍😁❤️

Hey Nicholas, yes we most certainly did, but some of our posse had to be back in the Ribble Valley for 6pm. Disappointed ? yes of course, but so glad we took part in a large part of the day, just incredible, made even more so by the fabulous people of Barrow. Thank you to you all..
And here's us in me wee MX heading south from deepest west coast Scotland ( for gathering of Mazda 5 folk in the shires ) and wondering about all these people on bridges. Must be Taylor Swift fans waiting for her coming up! 😮 Then I turned the radio on. Yaaaaae! Dave's Day! Good on ya! 👌 👏

Don't suppose you've any footage including an 8ft unicorn on the bridge to Bilsborrow? I was over the southbound carriageway?

I hope this is made a yearly event for us all its was amazing and the support through to barrow was tearful the suport was all along the roads and round abouts by the barrow folk over 200 thousand lineing the street.roads.round abouts.bridges it truly was mind blowing..
