Dave Day, 8th June 24 The day all the motorcycles came to Barrow, well perhaps not all of them but it felt like it. What a great tribute to Dave Myers, thank you all for attending. Thanks to Si King & Lili for attending and Woody for organsing it all. Plus Barrow Bid and all the volunteers who helped out, it couldnt have been done without you all. And the people of Barrow who turned out in numb...

The end of a journey that started in London and all other parts of the UK. With over 40,000 bikes taking part the main car park filled up quickly, the first bikes arriving at 4.00pm and the last one arrived at 6.30pm. Thank you to everyone that made the journey and made Dave Day a memorable event for everyone attending. Thank you to the Hotel Imperial that gave me access to film this from their...

Just a short highlights video from my day out at Haverigg to watch the MX. A great circuit, great facilities, friendly people and great racing, well worth a visit. I'll be back again soon to film another video.

I was at Cumbria Motocross Haverigg today filming when I was approached by 3 young lads who were racing in one of the classes who asked me if I would film them. Trying to film 3 different bikes in the same class on such a large circuit was a bit of a challenge and I only had 1 race to get it all in. Hope this is ok Danny.

Walking to Piel Island
มุมมอง 3742 หลายเดือนก่อน
Piel Island lies in Morecambe Bay , around 1⁄2 mile (800 metres) off the southern tip of the Furness peninsula. Local guide John Murphy and his team (John, Dominic & Lucy) guide walkers safely across the sands to Piel Island. To attempt this you DO NEED a guide, the tide can easily cut you off. DO NOT try this on your own. John does several walks across every year, for more information find him...

Beautiful tribute Dave will be looking down and smiling
I rode up from Liverpool but was raised in Barrow. What a wonderful event. It gave Barrow, and bikers, a great name.
A great British event. Well done all!
Bikers doing what bikers do. Ride In Paradise Mr Myers 😢
Can't beat Unity Should be made an annual event from now on
Well done 👍 I wish I had known about this, I would definitely have made the trip down.
Just amazing.
My mum, who died some years ago, was a little bit in love with Dave Myers. She would have been so moved by this show of love. If there is such a thing as the afterlife, I hope my mum isn't making a nuisance of herself, following Dave about like a puppy!
Thank you for welcoming us it was a very emotional day and what a day to remember I spotted myself 12 minutes in riding passed on my scooter thank you 👏👏👏👏👏
Amazing tribute RIP dave
When bikers unite for an incredible cause. Amazing humans and big respect to the biker community 👏
What an amazing sight in honour of such a wonderful man . I hope Si was there to witness this as he must be so heartbroken. Absolute respect to all the bikers and wish I could have been there. The biker community is awesome and I’m glad I’m part of it . RIP Dave
Impressive
Good fantastic thanks
I watched this, stood on Abbey Road Barrow in Furness to watch 1000s of bikers pay tribute and raise lots of money for cancer. The bikers were tooting horns revving engines shaking hands, thumbs up with thousands of bystanders, , some even did wheelies, godbless them all. They got a fabulous greeting coming into Barrow in Furness, it has got to be 1 of the most moving things i have seen RIP Dave they did you proud
Mind blowing, for a good man. Bless all you bikers.
Hi Scott, I'm making a film about this event for BBC News and was wondering if it would be possible to use a bit of this brilliant footage with credit to you?

Wow, what a fantastic event. I wish I could have been there but my motorbike was in need essential safety repairs. Lovely to see such wonderful people have a good time remembering what a truly great guy Dave was. Maybe next year if it becomes an annual thing. Well done lads n lasses, you give us bikers a good name.
This is so incredibly moving. Bless them all for coming together in this way.
What a bloody nuisance to everybody. Don't pretend this is about anyone but you Hell's Grandads.
Why did you not stand in the bike park in Barrow and say that ?
My god, Si must be knackered after that. With up most respect, Dave's probably up there thinking, all this for me, God bless you, Dave, we'll never forget the Ray of sunshine you brought us all xx
This is why we ride…..when out and about, always give a nod to a passing rider….we are a kindred spirit…..and Dave’s Day showed our unity….well done everyone…..
The organization behind the Day is something of a triumph! (I just hope that there are lots of public loos in Barrow, and a few sandwich shops!)
What a superb speech by Lili, completely without notes, just speaking from the heart. Wishing you well for the years to come, lovely lady.
Best place for this to happen, barrovians are some of the most welcoming, caring, fierce, proud people out there! Bikers are an amazing community, bring the two together and you have the perfect mix! Dave myers a true son of Brrow x well done everyone, truly proud to be barrovian
Lilly and Si. and Woody did a fabulous send off for Dave. Hard to believe he has gone.
Well done indeed 😂
So sad to lose Dave A beutiful human being
I'm no biker, but I've seen firsthand the power of the biker community and what a massive difference they make to charities, special causes, and funerals escorts for strangers. Big love to everyone involved

What an amazing man, loved him, wish I could have taken part, hopefully this will become a thing and I’ll catch it next year 👍🏼 rip dave ❤️
It would be interesting to know how many bikes were at the TT and how many was at DD, Love the Hawaiian shirts and flags. Same time next year? Wonder just what his missus thought when she found out about the size of the turn out? RIP Dave. Condolences to all who were lucky enough to be blessed with his presence.
