4 cups of All Purpose Flour, plus 1 Tbsp
2 tsp of Instant Yeast
1 Tbsp of Sugar
1 Tbsp of Coarse Kosher Salt
1-2/3 cups of Warm Water
Quick Marinara:
2 Tbsp of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 Cloves of Garlic, whole or minced
1 28 oz can of San Marzano tomatoes, crushed by hand
Fresh Basil

I’ve used the recipe & it’s chef kiss good.
I like this a lot - how to make the dough especially. My personal changes - oregano in the tomato sauce (I always miss it when it isn't there) and possibly less or no sugar. I also prefer the sauce spread as close to the edges of the pizza dough as possible... I tend to not want to eat the edges without pizza atop.
We make pizza most Fridays. When my kids were little they loved to put on their own toppings. The girls are grown now and live far away, but my son has moved home, so we still do it.

We made pizzas tonight for dinner using this dough.....4 to be exact. IDK why but this pizza dough was so much better than her "older' pizza dough recipe which I've been using for about 7 years or so. My little girls said "this is so good mommy!" "yeah thanks mom beause this is delicious" My only complaint is that we ate too much because it was SO GOOD! My hubby and I are on the stuggle bus b/c we are so full. Must.get.up.to.finish.chores.......

Back in the 70’s , a friend of mine and I wandered into a small Italian restaurant in, then, West Berlin. We were kind of sick of German food and kind of homesick. Although rather skeptical, we ordered pizza, as I said, we were homesick. I’ve had pizza in NewYork, Chicago, Detroit, Rome, but that pizza in Berlin was the best I ever tasted.

Love her Technique ❤️ Born a Raised in world Fanous Bensonhurst Brooklyn NYC we take our pizza very seriously. I make it close to hers. But if you have a connection at your local Pizza spot and cannot make your own. Buy it from them saves a lot of time. Saice wise always use the BEST! San Marzano even if your making a Italian Meat or Macaroni dish with a red Sauce.

6:39 the 'Pilot light' actually refers to a tiny flame in many gas stoves/ranges (and gas boilers/water heaters) that is kept on/burning 24/7:
a) to light the gas burner without the clickety-clack sound
b) i believe it also relieves pressure build-up so that your gas pipes don't explode
My mouth literally salivated at the end.
P.S. Your original pizza recipe is my go-to. Works like a charm every single time.
I do have to add that I used 2 cups of 00 flour and 2 cups of all purpose flour instead of 4 cups of all purpose. The dough was heaven to work with.

This is amazing dough!! one thing though Laura after we took dough out of fridge and tried to roll it it was so hard to roll and open to 12" every time we rolled the dough keep shrinking back ...Any suggestions? to what we doing wrong?

I recently had pizza made in a big cast iron skillet. It was so crispy and good. Have you ever tried this and is there a reason not to? Would other instructions remain the same??
Love Watching your videos. I have a question, so I've made your Old Pizza dough in the past & Loved It. This Pizza Dough is A little Different, you didn't add olive oil? I thought the olive oil makes it taste better.
Do you decrease the temp when the pizza goes in, or does it cook at 500°/550°?
If you have a programmable instant pot, set it to 105 and let the dough ball rise in the instant pot. You can use the glass lid too if you have one. Definitely oil it as shown in the video.

What is the seasoning you put on your pizza at the end? Was it oregano?
