Great comment. He has helped me a lot, too. I wish that I could have been trained by him when I was younger or learned his techniques to add to my training. But now I can pass it down to a new generation. Soviet and Cuban style boxing, with pendulum movement and concentrating on your kinetic chain, is, in my opinion, superior to the way boxing is taught here in the West, especially for amateur competition.
Some matador moves, this along the check hook and the stepbackwards right counter could be used widely by an outboxer. Problem with this upercut counter is that if you can't discern inbetween hook and jab when beeing thrown at you you are gonna be in trouble because they might cach you from the side with a hook.
@@josearanas5264 Thanks for the tip man, but in my case i've developed a style where i do rely on footwork more for defense, stepping backwards mostly, and when i'm against the ropes i simply duck and piviot to the side. Usually i got the bad habit of covering centre in a caching motion with my hand when i slip, so i doubt i will slip and block to the side, i would need to erase my muscle memory for that.
This is a definite ko especially if the counter is thrown after your jab and you land the counter uppercut following up with a Haymaker truly devastating since your cross will block your vision of the counter uppercut ❤
This makes no sense to me… I’ve watched many of this channel’s content and maybe I’m too much of a beginner, but I just don’t relate to his communication style.
He's not going to say anything. This is a boxing channel. If he's against what's going on he's going to get into trouble for saying it. Therefore he will say nothing.
He should kick her out; she refuses to listen to him and not "fall back". She keeps holding her guard hand up when throwing the uppercut when he's saying to flail it backwards (as it's a counter & her head is already off center line). Terrible student.
You cannot be serious. You shouldn't be a coach if you think this is something to kick a person out of your gym for. Also, if the coach is not making a big deal out of it, that means he is okay with her keeping her hands up, and that's all that matters.
This Russian man does some incredible work with these boxers. He has helped me a lot so far! Thanks keep up the work🙏😎

We don't deserve this next level coach for free

That's exactly what I was thinking. Must be used accordingly. You could always try to slip first and do the uppercut (Slip while blocking)

Always dropping knowledge
Priceless gold ! 👊♥️
this actually hard to do if you want power because it requires a great deal of flexibility and dexterity!
I remember Prince Naseem making this move look easy
Solid videos! Thanks for sharing.
This is Justin gathjes signature move
Body dynamics are point one .practice shoulder bumps loose and popping.. then throw the arm. Master has a floating spine.. that what makes it work..
I love it I absolutely love watching him coach 🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🙏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏😇
Easy check hook
Or slip left and right straight
Or slip left and left hook
