Ive always naturally had quite decent punch technique and am reasonably heavy handed, with good rotation, but never realised that I was collapsing my left knee on left hooks till you mentioned it.Checked it Infront of the mirror because my left hook as always felt a bit weak compared to the other punches including my jab(left). Stopped collapsing the left knee and instantly got that whip in the left hook that was missing .That tip is gold.
I love how you break these things down, and explain the details... 'don't move your knees too much or your feet lose their grip' Great job... breaking a complex movement down to the fundamentals. ... As a teacher I have nothing but the utmost respect for your ability to do this.
P.s just watched the full blog omg .. you explained things so so well. I have learnt more in the last two months from you than the last two year's of trying to learn and keep fit . A1 never to late if anyone is reading this im almost 58😮
i have been boxing for +20y in various countries and i absolutely adore this style of teaching and explaining, so accurate and precise. really well done
Oh buddy, I joined HWT since nearly a month now and enjoying your contents and once again, your emphasis and patience on your explanation is top notch. Thank you sir!!
I really enjoy this channel! Unlike other channels, you don’t come across as overly salesy or boring. The pace of the course is just right for me. I especially liked one particular video, along with the gazelle punch video, among others. Keep up the great work! I’ll be sure to share your videos, my friend. Thank you Bro!
Thank you. Another good video distilling points clearly, capturing the crucial elements that make boxing powerful. A note: the "shake it out" exercise, with the resulting relaxation properties, is also a direct correlative to a tai chi exercise we use in my boxing gym to achieve the same results.
Awesome channel. Your putting content out like no-one else. Answering questions that rarely get asked, all good point of view and all very helpfull....Ive found that shadowboxing is just as important and possibly more important than bagwork personally.
i learned theres an axis that we rotate on everytime we punch and to keep the axis balanced, that rotation creates a back an forth flow, caving the knee in will decrease your efficiency of your punches, the last thing to keep in mind is to be relaxed.
on the subject of balance: i tend to use heavy hooks to rotate around the bag . the impact helps me move that way almost like pushing my weight off of the bag. am i building a really bad habit?
Amazing ... truly... Im having lessons at the moment, and my coach wants me to twist so my left knee touches a ball so i have a powerful right hook which can make me unbalanced but maybe you dont do this like you said for the left hook.. Bit of a waffle. Lol any help coach . God bless
Thank you! Very informative and well explained. Please try to just keep your camera steady. No need to zoom in and out too frequently. You’re fine with a single full body view, just turn yourself to left or right as frequently as needed. Will probably save you much time editing. Thanks.
I like to wiggle my body and let my arms be fully flaccid. I like to whip they around like i have no arms. Yall ever watch harry poter and when harry broke his arm. They did a spell on him that made his bones disappear and it was mushy fleshy arm. Thats what i imagine and i wiggle myself crazy. I look crazy i know people stare at me weird. But man it gives me that ultimate perfect whip effect
Does anyone else struggle with committing to punches? Ive been sparring since Jan mostly once/twice a week for about 5 rounds I dont shy away from sparring guys that i know are way better than me Only issue is i havent been using my full force when punching Like "punching through the target" I dont know if its mentality or technique or both tbh
@hybridwarriortraining Appreciate you doing that🙏🏿 your contents been pretty helpful Keep up the videos bro your channel is breaking through the scene rapidly 🔥

This one's gonna blow up
i hope yo make a evideo about conditioning
Just like cars. The best split is 60rear wheels and 40 to the front. You will get best weight transfer and load and launch the best
but can you show how to get into boxing stance like a simple 3 step guide like by putting your feet together and then go from there plz
Wish I had this when I first started
Should you twist your hip on the jab?
Not wanted try to generate power with forward motion using leg and shoulder and always remember jab want to be faster more than stronger😊
Do you also avoid moving your rear knee too when throwing rearhand punches?
The 2nd pillar is why shadow boxing is so valuable.
Is it?
That’s what I gathered from the info you gave us. Do I misunderstand?
Yes balance is highlighted by your ability to shadow box 😎👊🏼
Can you do a vídeo or short on How to make the punches snap Brother ??
On the way already 👍🏼

I like how my camera man gets different angles and puts time into his editing…
I think its a good style, i got no problem with it
Commenting to help the algorithm which helps a few fellows hopefully get more rich 😂

Any recommendations on decent boxing boots. Ty 🙂

what shoes do you wear coach
Flys bro 👊🏼
Who needs “be like water” when you can “be like tea towel” 💀
I remember a jits coach that told me the pillars of jits now you told me the main pillars of boxing.
Wind the spring stir the cauldron Crack the whip
