Congratulations on your new car, and by the way, one of your best videos so far. I have seen many reviews about the M3 and M4; however none of them were as engaging as this one. I drive a tuned 340i with the M sport package and some bolt ons and, I have to be agree with you, this cars have more power than what most people can handle or will ever need.
These new 22 M3 or M4s are way better looking in person than photos. Saw an M3 on the road the other day and they are truly beautiful engineered German machines.😍 Congrats on your M!
Got an e46 m3 here in Chicago - if you ever up here brotha make sure to let us know!! This thing is a beast in corners and is made for the track if you’ve ever driven one.. those corners can easily be taken with so much more speed!! Love your car brotha!!
BTW, perfect spec on this car, I think this review alone sold me on the new M4. It's gorgeous in this spec in all honesty, and after being torn between what my next car would be (realistically my options were used C63 edition 1, M340I, 540i, M240i, F80 M3, and maybe the new Audi S4) this is it 👌
Damn, those are so far spread in price. If price isn’t an issue with them. I’d get into all of them and test drive them. I was sold with the m340i the second I got in. Test drove the Audi S4 and the m240i. The s4 felt too boring, and the m240i is pretty fugly imo. Just hop in and see what you like!

I don't mind the front end of the M240i especially in Brooklyn Grey, but the taillights make no sense to me.. Drove an F80 M3, and loved it, the 540i is in an entirely different class in itself, but the new mild hybrid actually made it get up and go. Like no feeling of turbo lag, it honestly felt supercharged! The c63 and M4 are definitely outliers, I haven't driven either... honestly these vehicles all being slightly apart in what they're meant for, its gonna come down to how I'm feeling lol
Just so you know lower compression is better for the turbos. You want low compression for boost and high compression for N/A. They designed the boost to kick in at 2800 rpm vs the F8x which kicked in on around 1700 rpm
congrats on the whip bro, i’m bout to get a 540i & im going to get an ecu tune which brings it to about 400 WHP, do u think it is worth it to get the car with the m sport brakes or the regular ones are fine?
Good analysis, I just added carbon fiber all around, lowered and midpipe and thats it. No performance mods necessary, more than enough for most people. Enjoy 👍
Super dope review... I agree BMW M makes the best balance of daily driveability and fun. I know people daily RS cars, 911s, AMGs, hell even Audi R8s (all which have their strengths and weaknesses). And on the cheaper end STI'S, etc. BMW IS perfectly priced and knows their target customer (at least with their M cars) despite what the They know what their M cars are suppose to be, and who they're for, their recipe is perfected.
Can you comment on the bucket seats Yet on weather the seats are good for daily driving. I tired them out when I went to a track event a few months back and I like them but couldn’t tell if I can deal with them on a daily basis.
Hey Slowspeed! Like the vid. I placed down my deposit for a Brooklin Grey/Tartfulo (or whatever it is)/6 speed manual 2 months ago. And I even chose the black wood trim as yours has----I'm not a carbon kinda guy.
Is the vehicle limiting you from redlining or you are yourself? I heard the red mark (redline) is lower until the first service & then they update to raise it? Could be wrong.... how many miles so far? 1200 miles until you can let it rip! My vehicle is currently "In the paint booth" right now. Status 152
Agree 100%. I have a 21' M3 Comp - my first M car. They are just different. Tons of grip, the front end has so much initial bite when you turn the wheel it just goes where you want it. The S58 is definitely a little laggy down low but pull like an absolute freight train up top. Wait until you get out of break-in.

Just went RC on my M4Cx. A must while someone figures out how to unlock the DME here in the USA (not Russia). If you think is insane right now, like I did, RC will wake more power above 3K roms like you won't believe. Try getting a used one for $300… while waiting for a full tune like me :)

On these types of roads 500 is all you need. Straight aways is what I’ll use the extra power for from tuning
