- Over the last year, in my spare time, I've been making time lapse videos of scenes around Morgantown, West Virginia, the home of West Virginia University. This video contains my favorite shots from these time lapse adventures.

Since graduating I've missed Morgantown everyday of my life.
But you never came back - I don’t blame you.
I’ve been watching this video of Morgantown for the last 12 years . Anytime I wanna visit, but I don’t have the time to drive back from NC I just put this on. Morgantown native, wvu grad. Motown will always be home . Go mountaineers !
Great video. I'm an Australian, and I lived in Morgantown for 10 years. Back home in Australia now, this brought back some gear memories. Well done.

I am just a freshman at WVU and I love it! Everyone that stereotypes us needs to watch this. And there were several people in my History class today that were talking about this. Awesome job!

The shot of downtown from atop the hill in Westover is absolutely stunning. The best shot in the whole video.

very nice :) for those who don't know morgantown though, the city is huge. this is just the downtown mostly. Morgantown is pretty much a metropolis thanks to the University. the towns incorporated are Westover, Suncrest, and Morgantown. we morgantowner don't even recognize the difference sometimes

I love this. Especially as an avid traveler, for most people Morgantown is just a blip on the map but it's more than home to me. I'm so glad I have a brilliant video to share with my international friends! Mountaineer for life.

I like the one at the top of High Street looking over the Mountain Lair Plaza as the sun sets. It would have been pretty cool if you could have gotten one of them setting up for and filming ESPN College Game Day!

Yes it has! I've often thought about remaking this and taking new shots from the same spots (although some are no longer accessible or even exist) for an updated morgantown in motion 2.0

Awesome video, I really think you needed clips of the stadium and the hospital and the PRT also though. And a clip of students crossing the road between classes in front of the lair. =) Made me remember why I love this town though. Very good song choice.
