This is an awesome band and to fix your problem, come see us live this season. There are 400 members, bigger than most bands. Definitely bigger than a high school band. Just come watch a full show. We're in Big 12 this year so we'll see Texas A&M. That'll solve your high school thoughts. Lol.
Next season Texas A&M will officially be a member of the SEC.. Maybe if A&M and WVU play in a bowl against each other.. If you want I can send you a few FTAB performances so you can see what I mean..
During the cadance, the snare's are a little sloppy at times... And marching flaws stand out at 4:06. But I personally know these shows are normally pretty limited in preparation time, so I can't be too critical.
i would love to see this from the stands. The sound was not good. Loved the ESPN guy right in the way and the various solos. It doesn't show off how really awesome the band is from these angles.
I love the aspect of marching bands in college football and I love watching the performances, but as a Texas A&M fan, I've watched the Fightin' Texas Aggie Band so long that all other bands (even good ones like WVU) seem unprofessional and "highschool"... It's terrible because I know this is a good marching band..
Over the years, the drum line has become totally ridiculous. In fact, it distracts from the music and the other formations the band performs. Its not like people wont notice the drums. Really, do it like it was when this show was first down in the 1980's
Watching as the band takes the field for the pregame show, tears come to your eyes as they are truly the Pride of WV.
Awesome job, wish I had been there!!
they came to my high school the day before they were supposed to go to fed ex field and they were amazing.
Loved the close-up of Simple Gifts

My cousin plays trumpet in the WVU marching band. Obviously, it's hard to tell, but I think from 1:56 - 1:59 you can see him. :)
